    I make Zerg vs others match and I observing them so I want to know how they handle the game. Surprise, Protoss and Terran both can't hold off against Zerg, Zerg alway have large army assault at them but Protoss and Terran didn't have at much units like Zerg do, they simple got steamrolling every time.

    That's normal?

    All AI difficult is insane/elite. Actually, I start to disappointed how weak of Protoss and Terran AI vs Zerg.

    Your AI for Zerg is amazing though. Thank in advanced

    Hello, I play with GT AI with SC2allin1 tool provided by Vernam7

    I do have question about AI please and sorry for texts wall.

    I play vs AI couple hours and I noticed there something not right for Protoss and Terran GT AI.

    Nexxy I just tried your suggestion and THANK YOU!!! It did work for the banklist which is the main thing I want but it still did not find unitdata.xml for the micro. Even without the triggers when I import gtai straight to a clean map it still does not find unitdata.xml. Any idea on what I might be doing wrong? It is in the following directory

    /Root/Gamedata/unitdata.xml

    Thank you Nexxy I will be trying this very shortly! Also thank you to BearManJim for your responses they are greatly appreciated.

    Nexxy might GTAI be modified later to where you can modify triggers AFTER GTAI has been imported?

    Every trigger I add to the map at the moment I have to repeat all the steps over and over again. Maybe have GTAI use a non reserved name?

    Some stupid questions
    1 How to command AI in Team matches? None of the commands work. Nothing shows up.
    2 Is it normal that all AI are shown as AI(Medium) in game?
    3 How to make sure that I am using GT AI but not the official one?
    4 Which AI should I use? 0.18/1.26b/1.26b Random?
    5 How to have HOTS units in the game?
    I use SC2AllIn1 to run the game.
    (I am not too sure about the game version but I have completed the HOTS campaign with the game)

    Hi,

    if you change any properties of the map right after the rename "trick", every renaming will be reverted.

    Try to edit every property first, after that insert GTAI, rename it with an MPQ Editor and instantly upload.

    Elsewhise Unitdata and our Bank will be reverted to blizz orig files.

    (sry for anwering so late :( was ill for about 4 weeks now :( )

    My Adding GTAI FAQ lol...

    1). Load clean map into editor
    2). I make sure unitdata.xml and banklist.xml are renamed to unitdata2.xml and banklist2.xml in the gtai folder before i import.
    3). Import gtai files into map by clicking a file in the root directory. Sometimes it isn't in the root so I click the box "show reserved files" and click on one of those files. Right click import files, gtai 0.18.

    4). Make sure unitdata2 and banklist2 go into the folder in this structure:
    //Root/GameData/unitdata2.xml
    //Root/banklist2.xml

    5). Make sure unitdata2.xml does not get imported into the location
    //Root/Base.SC2.Data/unitdata2.xml
    sometimes it DOES do this I have no idea why.

    6). If all that is okay open .sc2map file in MPQEditor and rename the files accordingly.

    //Root/GameData/unitdata.xml
    //Root/banklist.xml

    7). Open the map in the editor and go to map, player properties make player 1 race whatever u want.

    8). Make player 2 control = computer and make AI = computer.

    9). Test map.

    10). All should be okay but unitdata does not load. It says cannot find unitdata.xml.

    Okay so to import into say Whirlwind LE you highlight a file in the root then import the files to go into the root and in this case there is a file called "GSL Loading.dds". There are other maps however that only have a folder in the root such as Bel'Shir Vestige. How do I insert the GTAI into such maps where the only thing you can click is the folder in which gtai will not import into the root of the folder. Maybe I have to make a file in the root?

    I just tried it and both banklist and unitdata working flawlessly, but how come when I add my triggers to the map, the bankdata no longer works? I can't save BOs anymore. Adding triggers shouldn't affect the map at all should it? If so, then why? I'm glad that at least I have the unitdata.xml working so the computer will micro properly thank you BearManJim! Any idea on how to fix this banklist problem I'm having? If I record build, then save, then restart the map, the BO isn't saved...

    @TrickNachos Apologies for the misinformation on my part. I was importing the GTAI files incorrectly in the Map Editor! I've never had to import the files before with an existing folder already in place?

    With the map Whirlwind LE for example, I have to highlight the file "GSL Loading.dds" before attempting to import the GTAI files. The said file is in the root directory so the GTAI files also inserts into the root.

    I was previously just right clicking in the Document Files window to import the GTAI script which would effectively highlight the GSL folder and insert into that location instead. Whoops!

    I went ahead and published the map and it seems to play out okay using GT AI 1.26b.

    How did you get it to work? Me and BearManJim couldn't get it to work, at least through the map editor. Even when I do get GTAI working on some maps the latest version I can only get bankdata to work but not unitdata, and when I add my own triggers to the map or any trigger for that matter the bank file stops working. Everything used to work flawlessly but since the latest version of GTAI and Hots it doesn't.

    Part 2 - After that if I load some of my triggers into the map banklist.xml stop working. I have NO IDEA why this happens at all. How does the banklist file even work because I don't think triggers should affect it at all. I'd like a map at least with banklist working unitdata doesn't have to work but banklist and my own triggers at least would be nice for practicing...

    Can anyone help me at all? lol...

    Spent the last 5 hours trying to get GTAI working with hots properly to no avail.

    Can you guys clarify a few things?

    I want a recent hots map working with GTAI from the sc2 editor.

    If i try to import GT2_AI_0.17 I get a blank screen.

    So I import GT2_AI_0.18 and it works fine after I set control and AI to computer.

    But, unitdata.xml and banklist.xml don't work so I do the MPQ workaround thing.

    After that banklist seems to work fine, but unitdata cannot be found.

    Does GTAI 0.18 version have unitdata.xml and banklist.xml? I don't seem to have to rename these two files when it's the 0.18 version... Also it does work perfectly on Daybreak LE, but is there any way to get it working on those GSL maps or GTAI isn't compatible with those maps at the moment? (neo planet s, whirlwind, bel shire vestige)

    Bear Man Jim thank you very much for the response. I will be trying other maps, and if all else fails I will used allin1 launcher. I wonder why it doesn't work though even if its in the root?
