Map started in Spectator mode. Help

• Hey guys, i downloaded a melee map off SC2Mapster but i want to use it as a platform to experiment with the editor (I am terrible at making terrain). However, whenever i test the map, I'm always a spectator watching 2 AI players. I want to take control of 1 team.

  This does not happen if I make a new document. Can someone help me identify the problem. I've tried deleting all the triggers but it still happens

  maybe the map was designed like that?

  go to the Map menu
  then Player Properties
  and check if any of the players 1,2 etc have the Control set to User.
