I would like to nomination vernam7 to set up a SCII clan.
vernam7 has the requisite SCII knowledge, favors skirmish single play and has the proven skills needed to lead such a clan - which will be democratic naturally, but every democracy needs a chancellor, president, prime minister.
I am happy to play team human v AI online but I rather not play against another human as my gameplay style is skewed towards defences, fortresses and not how I see SCII played, human v human.
There is the possibility of clan based map(s). That is to say, input as to the type of map(s) the clan wants to play.
Rather than send vernam7 a PM regarding this, I thought I'd open this topic for discussion, to see if anyone else would be interested in joining a vernam7 lead democratic SCII clan.
This wouldn't suit highly competitive players, those monitoring their APM constantly, but it would suit the more casual approach to gameplay persons.
If you think this idea may fly, please add your views below, cheers.

ok guys this is really an honor to me! :_)
the truth is i spend endless hours working on Launcher Sc2Allin1, know alot on how the game works from the "inside" but as i said before to be honest i am not yet such a good sc2 player :) because of the simple reason of the last 6 months that you were playing with my tool i was only developing it and i have spend true Fun gameplay hours not more than 2-5 MOST! and other 4 online beta game that i won 3/4 :P.
sure with time i will catch up with you, but i dont think you will feel confident if your Clan "leader" is an Normal and not a "Brutal" pvp player :(
if there are gona be more people interesting on making this clan, just for fan and play together as a team when our times allow that i will accept the offer and i promise you i will do my best to practice after i finish the campaign and the v10.3.3 retail launcher! i am sure the GT AI guys will love to join our clan (if it will be made), and help up practise even more our skill and then go online to kick some serious **s :P
Yes this clan will be focused more on having a fun time, rather than being competitive. Games ought to be fun, win or lose, and if they are, then there are only winners.
vernam7, as clan leader you don't need to be the best player. You need to be the best SCII clan leader, and for such a role, you are ideally suited, hence my democratic nomination for you to head the clan.
Just do what you do here and apply it to the clan. Be welcoming and inclusive of people and accept members no matter their SCII skill level.
If we can get a few more posts of persons interested, then that would be grand and see this plan fly.
After all, we bought the game, it is largely online based, and therefore one ought to belong to some SCII clan to get ones money worth.
This won't be among the the top ranking game winning clans for some time but it may well become one of the largest and most popular!
Thanks for the positive replies thus far and thank you to vernam7 for his positive view on this. Being a SCII clan leader will be challenging but also rewarding.
But there is alittle problem i think,since we all live in different territories and using different client versions as well which means we wouldnt be able to find eachother
this can be fixed later patches will allow us to change realms or we can do it now manually by editing the game, that i dont recomned...anyway i need to get some spleep 05:00 again damn it......

@vernam7: i think the only xrealm happening is SEA accounts being able to connect to US servers...if they had plans to have full xrealm then they wouldn't have limited the xrealm from SEA to US servers only and not vice versa...

anywa the todays match we had with dear Charlemagne was superb i have the replays but i dont want to release anything with my real b.net account in it for obvious resaons..
i am a noob and Charlemagne helped me a lot to survive untill i start on building ....units...
anyway i hope todays matches made you see from a different angle how cool playing with your "friends" is even vs AI ;-)
when we get strong we may create this Clan after all :P

As it is winter here, cold, and I don't use heating and have my windows open, but rugged up ... I typically call it a day between 21:00-22:00.
I am more of a morning person.
I just checked the forecast here:
15.8oC now, no rain for the past two hours approx ... so all is good for my 1 hour approx street performance. I leave for that in an hour. :)
Game on soon against the cheating AI ... that "sees all" :P lol
why no heating? anyway we are getting offtopic i am sleeping now and in few hkurs back to work and i have to do lota of stuff forthe v11 yet damn it this player 16 takes forever

No heating because:
1. It is insanely expensive.
2. I love fresh air and the open doors.
3. Heating where I live is of limited practical use ... far better to rug up (means to dress very warmly ... layers).
4. It is kinder the environment.
5. Less risk of illness moving frequently between warm and cold.
6. One gets acclimatised.
7. I love snow, which we don't get where I am, so it kinda makes me feel a little at home.
8. I have heaps of winter clothes - layers.
9. No breeding of mold and other nasty bacteria due to air humidity and warmth.
10. My beast of a computer, lava lamp, a hot cuppa, hot water bottle, hot shower ... all add warmth.
Just a few reasons ... now back on topic.
Even 12 player slots would be good, if 16 is too much at this time.
If you guys make a clan I'll play if ya need people. I'm not a really hi ranked player or anything but I've had the honors in obs custom games to hold my own against diamond level players:) I'm pretty good all around with the races to so if we need a random player to make it harder on the opposition at the start of the game I can pull that part off pretty well if I do say so myself:)
Practice against the Blizzard Very Hard AI it sucks late game but early their aggression is decent, if you can toe to toe with them then you are getting a little better.
FYI... Dont build cannons, bunkers etc, makes it to easy.
