  • Just played against this, and crushed it TvT with a bunch of seige tanks turtling while it ran a bunch of M&M into them to get them killed, while I killed their expansions by sieging up 5-6 tanks while pushing in.

  • yes this is a bit of a problem the Terran functions are not fully implemented in the Starcraft 2 beta... therefore the Terran AI cannot use them and may be lacking some "smartness" in those situations. I try to improve it though! Thanks. Try the Zerg it may be more challenging!

  • Just played it. Steamrolled me twice in a row with rushes.

    The first time, TvT i built MMs and by the time i hit it, it had medivacs, so i pulled back, tried to tech up, but it overpowered me.

    The second time TvZ I tried to fast tech to banshees and i got 'ling rushed. splattered my MMs again.

    I never really had a problem with the starcrack AI because it doesn't tend to all-in rush.

    so nice job. i'll have to do some adapting.

  • I'd say it definitely represents a good portion of players with the rushing tactics. It's pretty nice to be able to practice against something like that.

  • I find this to be the most challenging AI I've faced so far...

    One comment: I was playing ZvP attacked his choke w/ lings/roaches and sent mutas at his drones. His zlots/immortals were wasting my ground so I burrowed the roaches, and he just sat there (and other spots on the map I forced him to) while my mutas picked off his drones and nexus... might have done some serious damage to me if he countered.
    Maybe if the AI doesn't have anti-air it should try and counter?

  • hi nasmer, i have tryed the v2 of ur AI. this is few issue that i see in game:
    - I noticed that the unit production is a little faster than the beta version....good.
    - I also noticed that the AI builds a series of advanced stuctures that will remain always(or quite always) unloaded. EG protoss builds stargate and robotic facility but it even build a unit from here for the rest of game; same for terrain : 2 starport with reactor that had produced 3 medivac in the whole game. I remember the beta work better..... bad.
    - also i d like to see the AI little more aggressive in the first minute of the game, and not wait for an army of 15 unit.
    - good unit's micro but sometimes AI retreat 6v2 or similar...
