I've tried out the Starcrack in the Beta, and it appears to work out up until a point where something either dies such as a building, or an ability is used.
I got my friend to try it out as well, and we were able to preform a 2v2 until the Ai attacked, then it froze and crashed.
---
The point was to try increasing the Ai difficulty during beta for practice of different strats, but we can't do much if the game crashes during a battle.
TurdBurgler, I know it wasn't your intent to get this working on the Beta, but I'd like to suggest exploring the possibility of making it work on beta as well.
My friend and I want to practice 2v2 strategy's, so I attempted to get him to start using it.
We froze up at first, until we eventually lasted 7 minutes without a problem, which allowed us to get some nice tier 2 battles going on.. but it froze up and crashed shortly afterwords.
It's a shame too, because 2v2 is a lot more fun with the Ai :( It also seems to have more balls, and pushes forward with it's attacks rather than dancing, which is always pleasing to see.
I've made the AI crash the game before from the script, so I imagine I'm assuming something team based somewhere I shouldn't. If I come across it it will be an easy fix and MIGHT fix this.

Thanks for your time.
Lmao, I just put a thread for this without reading this :D.
Also, using the AI in the beta works for me, but I find that if I've got it installed and I do any kind of 2v2, (even ranked) the game crashes a lot.
But 1v1 vs the AI works fine from Custom Game.
Indeed, Custom 1v1 does work.

Hey I'm confused guys.. I play 2v2 all the time with the beta.. no problems, ever - am I missing something?
It appears you got lost into the wrong thread.
This is about the use of the Ai in beta to replace the Very Easy Ai used by blizzard in 2v2 games.

I gotcha, thanks for the clarification...
I didn't realize that was remotely possible, sweet.
