You may have heard they are working on it, what surprised me is this came frm the Chinese replays.net which is the biggest replay website for WC3 and now also SC2 replays

I decided to try it since im not in beta and guess:

As you know the authentication bypass that was used in 1st version of sc2 is now useless and you must delete it to have the log on screen menu. With the instrucs above I entered the main lobby, for the 1st time I see myself in lobby with 'Menu' button there, not missing menus the way it was with authentication bypass.

When i try to create a game, it disconnects me. Anyway, this is awesome! - I didnt download bnet cache files from sites, all the maps appeared in the cache with today's date, downloaded from bnet! Now replays of top players work, no more *TEMP* missing files, messages! Perfect, it is soo awesome even if you cant play vs others, and launchers may still be needed... thx to this I can watch replays! - dudes for me pro replays are the Oxygen in gaming, I cant without them. I dont even care if I will play vs silly CPU or not, watching pro replays is nice!

While it doesnt let you play vs AI not to say others, it downloads latest bnet cache, didnt need to download some Cache from otehr sites, this is the latest cache from bnet!I dont even need syk0s AI maps anymore. I watch the latest replays and I care about replays more than playing vs AI!

MAPS: My map cache dl-ed from bnet have different numbers than those uploaded here. It seems they change and those uploaded here as official Blizzard maps are old and version 1.

Yes it WAS working for replays if not ready to play vs human beings. Thx to it I dled bnet maps cache and I was once again able to watch pro replays. Then patch 8 came and gg replays - cant watch again, they Desync, cache dl-ed frm Sc2emu doesnt help.

There is a new version that i think can make you even create a game vs comp, not sure, but just when I was going to post this:

I'm still wondering which will come first, SC2 in stores or an emulator so we can all play.

I'm thinking it's going to be a while before SC2 goes retail, and I've seen one team that's supposedly made very good headway with LAN so we'll see!

I wouldn't argue with an emu, or playing a legal copy - which ever comes first - I just hope Blizzard gets SC out sometime soon

I have faith we'll get LAN before SC goes retail, I don't think the emu will work by then though, I'd say the chances are high that blizzard will change something up in the retail version that will likely void any sort of progress made thus far.

Maybe I'm just a party pooper I dunno, I don't know enough about programming to be sure.
