Last night I received the Blizzard email after so many times of 'no new messages' every time I entered my email. My 1st contest - battleforums in 2009, then, since Feb 2010: facebook, TeamLiquid, SC2FR, Voodoex3m/IGN, GosuGamers ep 2 and 3, Pandaria (war3 solo tour), other French site, IncGamers 1st contest without luck until now.
Disregard any of my posts about emu, launchers, AIs as I won't need them anymore. Good riddance AIs, bored and sick of them! Still, thank you for making those AIs. It was really important to learn the races at least their units and abilities with the release of beta, so AIs were helpful as an initiation. I learnt the position of players, how the maps look before I got in beta.
I don't like the attitude 'I'm in beta, screw everyone not in it now'. It's still nice to have decent AI for the times when you can't access internet, and it would deffinately be awesome to have an emu ready for LAN parties. Not every lan party has internet connection, and hell, I realy don't know why should I be forced to play over internet with buddy sitting next to me. So unless you don't have any friends nearby, don't say you don't need emu.
I agree, it just displays arrogance and selfishness. He basically gave the finger to everyone working on great projects just because he got a beta key.
I support all the developers that are working on AI, launchers, and even emulators because I believe they provide a superior game-play experience when compared to official blizzard services.
Beta is pissing me off, matchmaking system doesn't seem all that wonderful but I'll revise this post if things start to make sense later down the road. I used to do well against the Ai but I guess I'm not on the human level.
I was never very good at SC but I've been paying a LOT more attention to SC2 and the tech structure than I did SC1 when I was 12 but I still can't seem to get a score anywhere close to most of my opponents.
We'll see. My biggest problem I think was not mining enough, I've been trying to build more peons throughout the game but have had a hard time expanding with Terran.
1) I said AIs were useful to the point you have in beta. What's so unbelievable about it? I said that they are good for initiation, otherwise you wouldnt know your units and train it yourself. Interpret it all you want idc.
2) I keep on seeing ppl say how easy it is compared to AI. Ofc, they cant mass units on the 1st min unlike the AI that makes 3x resources. But where do you play? Copper? If so easy, why not reach platinum and play there, win there and win even tournaments?
Still, the Blizzard AI is a complete retardness, so Blizzard could have those AIs created here, it would be a whole new level AI but AI is AI.

Congratulations on getting into the beta! You're right in time for a supposed content update within the next couple of weeks. And a ladder reset too.

Damn, some people just don't think before they open their mouths.
I prefer the Ai at times over beta itself to be honest, so you can't bash them just because you got into beta.
After fighting many people who are poor sports and not that good, you may start to move towards the Ai more.
I hardly ever play online. Whenever I feel like it I just hop on and play against the AI.
