well done vernam7! Works like a charm (as expected from the changelog). For patch 10, even replays seem to work.
I have a problem with starting it up. It keeps saying "Could not find Starcraft II v14803! (2)" I'm assuming it's the updates that it can't find, though I don't know where I have to put them to be found.

look in StarCraft II Beta\Versions directory you must have Base14803 folder like this:
C:\Program Files\StarCraft II Beta\Versions\Base14803
but you know this tool detect them Automatical i think you must reinstal sc2 and then update to path 10 and then use this tool
@terran58 transparency is damn windows issue doesnt happen to everyone and i cant do much about it, the v10.x will not use transparent parts thought

i think i have cracked the latest Blizzard AI and i maybe able to add very easy,easy,medium,hard,insane,cheater Difficulty levels and PER PLAYER slot!
nothing certain yet, but thank you Blizzard for the patch 10! :)

That's great news, didn't know that blizzard developed their AI in latest patches. I would like to try playing against blizzard AI, and compare it with other major AI.

anyone else have a file in the Starcraft II Beta folder (Program Files\Starcraft II Beta\) called "AIDifficulty" ?
i opened it in notepad and there was 4 or 5 lines of variables (t_const minerals) or something like that,
then i closed it without making any changes
i opened it again, the file was empty, all the 4 or 5 lines of script was erased..
does anyone have the lines of code from their file? i would like to re-add it to mine..

Hey guys, talkin to vernam here, sorry for another story haha! sorry sorry I just have lots to say sometimes specially after this madness this morning with new launch LOL!
I hope it will help out vista users and win7 users in some way, even though you do a HELL of a job doing tech suport! Every day you're on here bustin butt to feed all these people the info and fixes. If I know its going to be a hard update from the recent version Ihave on the puter, I just uninstall it, and reinstall after cleaning up any left overs. That way its a clean install.
I have everything unrared and prepared to do it, and I make sure and read all these comments of problems, since thre are just a small few, who have a real question that hasnt been answered yet. Hell I even copy and paste the instructions and change log in a txt file so i have it right on my desktop while i do it.
But great work man! I am stoked to finally use the the map editor. Which i hear is very similar to the war3 editor, but i never used it, so this will be a new learning experience for me :)
Anyway I saw you made that a sticky. I appreciate that, maybe will take "some" weight off your shoulders! But thats how I did it, and it worked like Gang BUstas! haha. Cant wait to get the new ai... the blizz ai builds nothing but gathers resources haha, all old official maps and ai maps work just fine though!
Id love to help you out testing your tool if that is something that you would consider. I know my way around computers like the back of my hand with 17 years since I got my first PC, and the first thing I started doing was learning as much as I could about how they work ... along with making doom 1 and 2 levels HAHAHA. Simple to me. I know where all the hidden goodies are haha. and Hell sometimes I just reformat.. because its fun when im bored haha...tip back up image, takes 10 mins to restore and you are formatted and up and running again. But if you need an extra tester, let me know and Id be more than willing to help find key problems, i just got win7 ult x86, I have vista ult x64 on he laptop, then I have a computer in my network with xp on it. Its an old paper weight. but xp is on there and maybe i could trouble shoot the problems and have the answers before any launch! but thats up to you. But thanks again for the sticky!
So Verman if you need someone experienced with computers as far as file structure, who can figure things out for them self and troubleshoot on their own and is a problem solver who can get you back the information you need to adjust the tools for further releases and instructions for all operating systems people here use, give me a shout! Id love to be a help to the cause :) I guess you can PM people on this site right? if so , def let me know!

Serith, with the latest launcher v7.9.9 the AIDifficulty.galaxy script is located in Programs/StarCraftIIBeta/SCALLin1/ai folder it should open without a problem and I know what problem your having with the blank script I believe it might be because the script is still running? Do you usually get a blank script right after playing a game or it could be your using maps made for other launchers. My advice is to update to the latest launcher after doing a fresh uninstall and install + updates it will save you the headache. Good luck.
Thanks for the response terran. I have a new error now...SC2.exe-Unable to locate component. This application has failed to start because fmodex_4_28_07.dll was not found. blah blah blah. I tried doing the updating manually since the updater is poop now. This is probably in the 9th update but everytime I try to update it just says it can't.

whenever i exit the new 7.9.9 launcher after playing a game (everything works great now) , i get an error before the launcher exit says "mySpatch stuck error" or something like that but it doesn't create trouble since i am exiting launcher.

Hi, I saw someone post the question on last page but no answer yet. And I have the same problem :P
I just installed the latest tool v 7.9.9Beta and got the following message when starting the game: A "SCRIPT LOGIC ERROR OCCURRED FOR PLAYER 2 : INVALID MAINSTATE" then the computers just collect mines. Would you mind tell me how to fix this error ?

You can't do anything about it for now.
He's already outlined the criteria for using the tool. You can only play against a proper working AI on the old official maps.
Crack blizz AI to force it work as hard difficulty!!! and also per player!!!!

today its a new day, last nights progress was, something not too bad but also not too good aswell.
i have found what causes the script errors,
besides changing tha AI functions blizzard also closed a part of the exploit we used to launch the game properly and force it to play with AI.
so it seems we either need a total new launcher OR an AI that will use the old function names BUT with the new true function abilities.
to sum up it takes longer than 1 day...hehe
but by reading the new core AI yestraday i think we have a very good change of achieving per player difficulty cause blizzard;s AI is already there now,
i think we just need to edit the script in the map we are launching properly, as we did to achieve the team hack in the past....tests that i made yesterday indicates that i can affect the game from my maps script and change the error!
i managed to remove the error but not fully enable the stock AI yet.
if i had a map editor with me to join in my battles that would be nicer and would same some time ;-) anyone interested?

Hey what about the black screen and green cursor only without the loading bar and sc2 logo after pressing the launch button. Please don't call me noob or lazy because I tried hard reading every single thread and found others with similar problems but no solutions. TY in advance

i got this problem my self once!
i reinstall my game Didn't install any cache manually, update to patch 10, and everything got back to normal.

the TEAMS ARE BACK and WORKING 100% in patch 10, also find a way to control SPEED without hacks and dlls and possible for ALL version

Difficutly PER PLAYER is now also Achivable 99% done!!!!!
in TEAMS i have improved the Vision Sharing,Expensvies sharing, and FUll unit control this time (not just one unit) works perfect!
the stupid script error still (at least for me) remains a mystery i am getting close to it!
our StarCrack AI also is going Very well so cu soon with a brand new Version!
