  • PATCH 11 is out! Before posting AI issues READ!

    ok then it seems i was right the launcher as a tool will have no problem with newer patches, but sure the AI needs some tweaking, dont worry the guys will do it soon... ;-)

  • Ai needs tweaking but i am playing with 7.0.3r2 right now, still needs tweaking to match the update, the launcher thought doesnt, it perfectly compatible to the patch 11 ;-)

    if you wait probably tommorow there is going to be a fully compatible ai too... seens then use the Blizzard very easy

  • Tool <> AI dont get them confused, there are 2 different things! they just work together they are not the same thought!

    I see you will be busy with Patch 11 considerations so I thought I would do a bit of research to hopefully save you time.

    I found where you place the Objects xml document I assume you are reading from. A map that has the starting points read OK is shown here (without gt/lt symbols as comment text didn't like it):

    Point id="3" position="38.5,28.5,0" scale="1,1,1" type="StartLoc" name="Start Location 001 color="0,0,0,0"

    One that fails is:

    Point id="14" position="15.5,63.5,0" scale="1,1,1" type="StartLoc" name="Startort 001 color="0,0,0,0"

    In both cases the "type" attribute is the same and should identify the xml Element as being a Starting Point.

    So if instead of relying upon the "name" attribute which is determined by the map author, why not use the "type" which is determined by the editor and should be consistent. You can then extract the point number from the "name" string by obtaining the digits only.

    No doubt you know this already, but just thought I would mention just-in-case.

    i am glad you found an other "common" betwwen them, currently i was directly reading ht name attribute.... could be improved.

  • Hi Vernam. I just read most of the posts here, but couldn't find my problem anywhere.

    I'm running an XP Pro system, have anti-virus turned off ect....
    The problem is that whenever I try to start a game SC2 downloads a patch. then it finishes. So I start a game. And it downloads the patch again.
    I must have downloaded the patch 15 times now.

    Any thoughts?

  • @Batteries: this is just a thought, could you start the game using StarCraft II.exe (not with the launcher) to download the patch? Then after the patch finishes, use SC2Allin1 to play the game.

    cheat mode works perfect

    only thing weird is selecting difficulty and AIs ,if i selected another AI before and want to change it i must select another option and then back to my selection to take effect ,for ex i must first select medium dif and then back to another AI otherwise it does not show AIs and cheat mode.

    and you didnt active the AI editor its for 9.4.4 am i right?

    did you see the download page ! very tangled ,lol for what ,i dont know !!!

    because the laucher remembers the last diff you had on new restart yes, you may seee "other ai" and not the Other AI tab! you will have to switch for the "if" to run again, anyway i will improve that, but thats not the permanent place of the cheat mode!

    this UI was perfect served really well BUT it cant handle it any more! the v10.x is closer ;-)

    the editor is left for later yes, i had to make this sudden 9.4.0 to make sure AI will somehow work with patch 11, maybe 9.4.4 will never come and maybe i will go to 9.9.9 straight next week and after that v.10.

    glad you enjoy the cheat mode :P

  • ■Include new difficulty level "Insane" and reconfigure all previous.(Your feedback for those settings is need it, post in our forums if you like it or not)

    i test medium diff and insane diff :

    in medium enemy was dancing like before (retreat was active)
    in insane enemy attack with full charge no dancing any more and realy challenging (retreat was off)

    really good change for AI ,perfect

  • hello greetings :D

    I have sc2allinone launcher 9.3.3 I am on a sony vaio - windows 7 x64... When I launch the game, the game stops to load at 80% and then it crash... I reinstalled the game 2x but it didn't help and followed IAgainst's instructions... I have another PC that is a XP SP3 x86 and the game flawlessly works with your launcher... Why do I experience these kinds of problems when I use my Vaio? :( :(

    if you can run it on another pc ,so the problem is your vaio ,difference between xp and 7 for runing this tool is :

    UAC
    cache folders directorys
    7&vista need more resources(ram ,cpu,graphic card)

    you must see what your xp system have or have not , and check it with your 7 system

    i think its not tool fault but your system weakness or you miss something

    check it again with relax mood and carefully ,good luck.

    btw... is it ok to put patch 10 caches for patch 11 or i'll clear the caches folder in patch 11?

    clear your cashe folders

  • I believe i have everything downloading correctly and in the write places however when i click on start when im in the launcher nothing happens. it wont load the game whatsoever. i have been able to get into the game on some different launchers but it has always been just me with no cpu. i have tried a hundred different things trying to figure it out and i dont get it. im an xp user. any help would be legit.

    what version of the tool do you use?
    do you have the latest? maybe the other launchers fucked up your game! uninstall and reinstall it?
    and then again the latest version of Allin1 v9.4.0

    how is possible to press the launch button and absolutely nothing happen? 8-#

    BUT, when i run any replay, it comes a starcraft styple mouse + a black screem...help

    you can see your own replays only untill there is a new patch 11 cach file pakage from the site i recomended.

  • I installed a fresh starcraft 2 beta client up to patch 11. I extracted the the scallin in the game folder. It doesn't recognize the official blizzard maps. It also doesn't recognize UMS maps like Top Down Fighter. What do I do?
