You dont always get zerg when you chose random, i have gotten both terran and protoss before.
When I download the latest StarCrack ALLin1 (v9.4.0beta) (OFFICIAL SC launcher) I do not have a run option as the 8.18MB file has no extention, ie. Windows does not recognise what type of file it is. It could be something simple I am not doing but if someone could help me out it would be much appreciated

Greetings. I've tried everything I read on these forums, but to no avail. Whenever running the AIO tool, the tool itself crashes, without displaying a GUI or anything.

i see your running win7. did u try "running as administrator"?
Yes, I tried everything that's been posted, to no avail. I have more than average knowledge of a PC and am running all applications as administrator, being logged as one. I'm currently debugging the application and I see a "ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND" twice, after which the application dies and the debugger fails to trace something. I'll see if I can find out which file it is reffering to and fix it. But an answer from the developer would be nice, since he knows best what's programmed into his little piece of wonderful software.
Hmm, I'm gonna do a reboot and a NET reinstall, don't know if that's the culprit. Meanwhile, if the developer is here and can see this message, please check the following:

The issue seems to have resolved after reinstalling .NET. Microsoft has a typical way of messing it's installs up every damn time.
mscorwks and mscorlib are .NET components, and don't ask me why they failed or the wrong versions were loaded, Microsoft FTL.
Anyways, thanks for a wonderful tool, and keep up the good work!
yeah .NET needs to be properly installed! and updated to SP1, sometimes when you install other tools or drivers they replace the latest .net libraries with older version leading to crashes!
we have this in our NEW FAQ actually if the application crashes on launcher its only 2 reasons!

Yeah, trust me, I had NET 3.5 SP1 installed, but the tool would only run after a reinstall. That's weird tbh, since Microsoft fails over and over. Wish we had another OS like I dunno, as stable as Unix but as feature rich and user-friendly as Windosw. Wunix?!:D
Normal game and even the custom maps are working for me, but not the replays. I have downloaded the new cache files (0503), put them in right directory (double checked) and my games are from patch 11, but there is even no replay info (it used to be there even if the replay wasnt working). It used to work for me till the newest version so i really dont know wheres the problem. Anyone can help?

currently, the tool only supports playing local replays and not multiplayer (battle.net) ones. however, vernam7 and the rest of his team are working on that. i'm also waiting for this feature. :)
many thanks, vernam7, for building and maintaining such a great tool! after trying many different launchers, i settled with yours and have been using it since version 4.7.1.
more recently, i upgraded to Windows 7 (32-bit Ultimate), installed SC2 and StarCrack ALLin1, and noticed the UI bug shown below.
running the installer and/or the tool itself as administrator does not help. i have already tried deleting the tool and reinstalling.
the issue is still present in version 9.4.0 Beta.
i have .NET Framework 3.5.1.
thanks vernam for the tool it works great except when i try to launch replay it says "Unable to open replay"
im running allin1 launcher v9.4.0, patch 11 starcraft, patch 11 bnet cache files, emptied map cache files and the error still comes up.
also i tried to launch replay from starcraft 2 but i cant get passed the login screen anymore

sorry as of 9.3.3 + i do not support older replays!
that means you are trying to load a replay lets say patch 9 or 10 or 8 and not patch 11 and the game load to patch 11, i had to do that (remove backwards compatibility) i will probably do something about that in the future version.
i was pretty sure the game engine was trying to load the correct replay build it self.
Well, i have exactly the same problem, i also have patch 11, chache files 11 (from yesterday) and brand new replays (from today). Stil "unable to open replay"
Btw. it worked for me untill patch 10 and i did everything exactly the same way, so i dont thing i messed anything up (like cache in wrong directory or stuff liek that)

if the cache are 11 the replay 11 then your problem lies (maybe) in the cache files, they may not be complete!
it happens a lot and the cache files gets updated a little later...we may just have to wait...sorry
thanks! that was indeed the trigger for the bug. nonetheless it is a bug. it doesn't make sense for a certain DPI setting to be a requirement for running the tool without screwing up the UI. perhaps you could position the window's contents using the correct pixel values instead of multiples of the base font size. i hope to see a bug fix soon!
its not a bug! bug is when something behaves as it shouldnt be! this behaves as it was designed! to work with DPI 100% ;-) its what we call form scaling!
and this is atteched to the windows font settings.
and why was designed like that?? because the background image if it was scaling to match the rest of the UI the skin would go very very blur! its the limitation of 2d, and i am not gona do a 3d interface just for that ;-)
BUT i have just wrote some code for the next version that will worn you for settings like those and the tool will not start.
Same thing here. When I try to run give this error "It´s not possible to locate file "C:\Program files\Starcraft II Beta\SC2ALLin1\GameStrings.txt". What do I do ?

after the uac etc you are in a better position, now you talk about an error in replays give us the error!
