@Terran et al. Thanks for the nice words, but something is messed up and I don't know what it is... I actually just got a beta key tonight, set it all up, made sure every possible port was forwarded, my router was set up right, etc. etc. but I'm still getting "The game is awaiting a response from Battle.net..."
So frustrating... maybe it just wasn't meant to be.

last night b.net was closed for me!!
you should try later(depends on local blizz server)
and try to login to b.net with your browser and see
if you can updat your game online(you must delete latest patch folder)
but if you dont know what should you do dont do it

and make sure of your firewall rule as Cry17 said.
@terran58 I can log into b.net just fine. The official blizz downloader for the client wasn't working at all (tracker was down), but I pulled a .torrent file off a private site I'm on which had the proper installer (w/ the blizz tracker listed) and got the client through that. I have no idea what's going on, but like I said, frustrating upon frustrating.
Btw, I'm USA, east coast. I'm just hoping it'll work tomorrow.

Hi, I have been looking around for an answer, but I am not sure what is happening and what needs to be change, please help.
I have installed the client and upgraded to patch 11, downloaded cache file for patch 11, map for patch 10 (newest already?), and the launcher from this site, I can install the launcher and be able to launch the file, I tried to play many replays that I downloaded online, no matter new or old, it is either 1)black screen with a mouse or 2)it says unable to open file. I guess the 2nd one means that I don't have the right version of replay, but what about the first one?

just becuase every day we have something new on replays ,the best way is watching them on youtube
believe me even authors and advanced users have problem with replays not because of tool fault but the replays themselves
so if you can manage them to play, bravo for you
and if you cant do this watch them on youtube and dont ruin your day :)
@vernam7 I was just thinking, it would be a huge help to people who are having trouble if you could post a link to a replay that you know works 100%. Then if someone is having trouble with it they know they need to continue checking the FAQs etc.

There something wrong with the decals in 9.40beta patch 11. zerg gets terran decals.

If I download a replay from the net.. Is there a way that I can know what patch version it was played?

this is the same even if you play online, its not a tools issue

@Anonymous right now in the latest version NO there isnt, the site that you downloaded the tool is responsible to inform you!

I've found a replay pack that is defiantly patch 11 games.

But Its seems that I can not manage to play those replay some give me a black screen some load but then give a "unable to play replay"
Can you check if they run and its my problem or something else?

so dont complain about replays any more ,do it yourself or leave it

I do want to thank you for confirming me that the problem is in my pc, But you attitude is making me not wanting to thank you.
Anyway now that I know that the problem is my I'll try to see what I can do to fix it.

@ Oren, I understand what you are saying there but in defense of terran58, English isn't his first language and he has expressed frustration with it. So what you read and what he means may not match up correctly.
He does consistently answer questions and help others.
Just wanted to let you know.

Well I did mange to fix it..
I deleted the cache library and download it again..
I think the problem was that I had cache 8 and then I just put cache over it without deleting the cache 8 //
Maybe you should write it in the manual that when a new cache come you should delete the old cache and then put the new one..
Anyway now its working.. somehow.. some times when trying to run a replay I get "unable to run replay" and then I exit and try to run the same replay again and its working.. I wounder why..
Anyway the tool is great.. Thank you all for the help.

@ Slash, have you tried a reboot into safe mode to test the install?
I suspect that you have some security software running that is causing the problem and some software continues to run processes even when you think it isn't.
something is missing...... is the game correctly installed?
I have made a "cmd" to manually update starcraft 2 from first release to patch 11.
It's only for EnUS version. (which can be modified to EnGB or others).
I'll attach this file if needed.

This message only appear when double-click off list and no replay selected. (that says no items selected)
