ok i want talk about SC2MAP type
indeed some times the tool cant recognize them(only for first time to begin) i think this is what make users post map problem with hurry!
but the fact is user must try to recheck the problem not only with first way and the easiest one !
for example he/she must try to refresh the maps list
or restart the tool or try to use add maps from folder at once and all maps together
and final way is put some SC2MAP to ...\My Documents\StarCraft II Beta\Maps (including the map that they want test) and then start the tool
this is not that difficult to get it to work with amazing work that vernam7 put on this tool
i mean users must deal with problems , so what we expect from vernam7 , maybe a tool that we can use it with close eyes :)
such a tool cant exist because SC2 is not such a game !!!
in my opinion ALLin1 tool is perfect
and i think with little more try from yourselves , you will be agree with me :)
however , if "SC2MAP" map type work or not work !!!!! with ALLin1 (i know it works 100%) , vernam7 i appreciate your efforts and i look forward for 10.x version :)

i perfected the add map small bug you found terran58 now and even a sinlge map in a folder is installed.
i trully dont know why they dont see the map i refresh the list automatically after every add, i really dont know.........
anyway version 10 is stuck! luck of UI in how the hell are we gona feet so many damn option and keep it small!
also the starcrack ai team informed me that when the servers are going down they new AI will be about to launch better and improved! so i probably will launch the version 10 that time ;-)

ok dont take this the wrong way, but i was having some strange thoughts, what if the next v10 with all those improvements and new stuff, was not free?
i mean for such a tool would you pay just 0,50$ to get it?
i know you "shouldnt" profit from a Beta, but hell other peopel was selling ther cd-keys for 200-500$!!!

You have what from donations so far, $10? I doubt you will make much money from your launcher.
No one is asking you to use your server.
As for those selling beta keys, you really want to put yourself in the gutter with them?

I am here for the fun. As soon as that stops, I will move on. This is a good way to be.
Edit: I want to add, that charging money for the launcher may well attract the wrong kind of attention from Blizzard.

the bad :
right now tool is free and you have many complainant
so i think when they buy the tool ,then you should hire a lawyer :D
most thing that make the tool and nibbits so popular is that they free and easy to use , so many users really unable to buy things over internet by " International Credit Cards " and its a big despairing news for them
you may loss your fans , i told you once in past almost all troubles are for money :D and some users may wait to buy sc2 later , instead of using tool right now even with such a low price !!!
the good :
it can help you to work more professional so you can do better support and have better features for tool
it make many users to know real quantity of the tool that they had it for free :)
no one can come here and use the tool for free and show his finger to all and then leave , and later he will come back for new version ..... !
its no a matter of living from that i dont care about that i really dont have any financial problems at all! thank god so far.
i was just thinking strange ideas, like a iphone app for example, how many devs did something simple funn and costs what ? 0,80$ and they have thousends of downloads! thats extra cash from nothing! even if you dont have financial issues extra cash is always welcomed :P
sure i dont want to think of me as one of those ass*** selling xxx ammount of money something that is even theirs like abeta keys to agame they dont even make, but a tool is something else, i make the tool and its something extra for the game.
to be honest with (that idea crossed my mind) but i will never make this tool pay to play for the 3 main reasons
1)i dont want the wrong attractions from Blizzard so far they dont touch me because i do nothing against their terms!
2)i like the reputation i build and this is a true part of my character as a developer, the level o professionalism, dedications, support etc, that will all be ruined with an action like that and i dont want to.
3)its not gona last forever, because in few months the game will be out and everyone including me, will be sucked into this :P (but i am not saying i will disappear! next expansion will also have a beta ;-) and Local Area Network is always welcomed) ;-)
then why did i asked this?
just a though to see how far a user would go for such a game? and this is a chat section so i wanted to cheated with my friends ;-) (because some of you i see you like real friends)
