Blizzard Forum changing

• Blizzard is changing its forum and now ur name that u put on registration will be display on ur post. it wont be ur nickname and stuff... its ur name. So if u manage to lie good for u. for the others who put their real name and doesnt want it to be display, u gotta stop posting on the blizzard forum.

  if this is a move from activision... they have gone lower.

• Mostly part of the RealID friend system in which instead of seeing the various IGNs someone can use in the numerous games, you see only the name, which should prevent confusion, especially in games like WoW which can have 10 characters per server and in as many servers as you like.

• I have never used their forum but will this affect older posts aswell? That could get people into some really sticky situations. Assume you are searching for some job, they google your name and finds a post where you forum trashtalking about that "women belong in the kitchen" or smthing.

• Well bnet forums were retarded anyway, I only used them to follow when beta was out and to get a key if someone wanted to give me, but I won one myself 'through blood', so now I throw it at the face of those at bnet forums for being mean in the first months of beta..

  Anyway, source to what you say?? No such thing in the forums

• @Boyeah: I'm pretty sure old posts will be unaffected. Back when identifiers were removed, portraits corresponding to the old names were "broken".
