i get the black screen and green cursor too. using windows 7 x64 and i do run as admin

guys this screen you talking about, could be caused because you havent cracked the latest patch 18 after upgrade maybe?
you dint try to install any AI manually did you?
also do you use the latest maps from our download section?
defenetly you are missing a step or something you all have in common! lets see what will hapen with v10 today.
thanks for the reply :D and great work! I have clicked the crack button thats in the launcher. have not messed with any AI stuff. just now got through with reinstalling sc2, and same problem. Still here trying stuff but nothing has worked so far

used the map pack on the launcher page to get the maps, have deleted and replaced, and re deleted and replaced the cache folder, user account is off, no anti-virus running, Have tried launching with different difficulties as I have heard that some people are only getting it to work on very easy. Still no luck getting anything to show up. If i try to play any of my replays I get a loading screen but then an error message. Still here reading through the forums and trying different stuff. will post if anything changes.

strange...are you in in patch 18? or at least patch 16-17? of phase 2? do you use the latest maps?
ok but i would recomend to simple delete ALL cache! including map cache files!
did that as well .. have my replays from my last few games (patch 18) in a different folder. thanks for the quick replies :D .. Im still here going through the forums and trying stuff. I have used the launcher before ... but it was before i got a beta key .. somewhere around patch 6 .. everything ran fine. So its not some crazy computer problem i think .. pretty sure its something i have not done right.. just cant identify it yet :P

is there going to be a Launcher for that patch too ?
And mate, i've tryed everything you said, i've reinstalled the game over 10 times, always trying new patches (even older ones), doing everything what the "noob guide" says.
but the problem just won't go away -.-
Hey guys, great launcher. But if i click launch, only SC2 launches, without loading the game. There is only the Battle.net screen :(
It worked a few months ago, i installed the new launcher today and now it doesn't work anymore.
Any advices?

the launcher is working and its fully combatible ONLY with Beta Phase 2 game client patched from patch 16 to 18!!!!
and will work if you go to options (crack latest patch) once. nothing more to say!
when you reinstall your games there is an other article in our forums that says how to patch manually from v1 to version 18 all the way if the servers do not so automatically! (OR try this semi automatic tool) read there! if you have uninstalled your game and you are way back to february versions, there is NO way for the launcher to work, since then the beta has been changed a lot and the launcher with it!
if anyone need patch 17 and 18. ONLY US VER.

Ok, i'll manual patch the whole thing (again...) , but i have a question.
the cache site, it's says it's for patch 17... it's okay to put that cache on patch 18 ?

Cache was needed for replays, I'm not sure if you still need the cache anymore, but whatever the case first make sure the game works and than try making your replays work if you are interested in watching replays, and by that I mean do not use any cache files. So just uninstal the game and maybe even check if you still have any files left in the game directory or in any other folder on your C drive related to the game and delete them, and than try a clean instal. Also do a clean instal of the launcher.

Btw, i've managed to play a litle bit of SCII , i guess the prob was the cache, because i didn't put it. Hurray..
BUT...
there is now a new Prob..
The ai Does NOTHING. even on insane. It says it failed to load the script

OMG c one guys dont drive me crazy! you said you read the FAQ but i bet you read Nothing!
those errors are only happening when you try to oad custom Modified AI files and you are NOT using the v9.9.0!

dont use other AI
get only sc2allin1 v9.9.0 or v10, later today
delete all previosu sc2allin1 versions from your system
have the game updated to version 17-18 of phase 2, it works! all Blizzard Ai level work just fine, i mean how hard can it be to simple download and use the new launcher!????
show me a screenshto of your launcher plz and your maps! and sc2allin1 installed directory.
its one think to support and an other to keep saying the same old things again and again and gain because you dont pay attention!
Champy, What folder? And i cant find anything about it in the faq 2. How do i change localization? I have windows 7! When i lauch the game, a black screen comes, i can move my zerg cursor but it will stay black! help!

here we go, but i'll "reinstall" the tool, just for you mate.
But there, you have the maps on "C:\Users\Cgasdfçjgçjk\Documents\StarCraft II Beta\maps
The toll on his own folder, and the toll saying has no new updates (btw, i can print you the .exe file of the tool)
so, don't tell me that i don't read the faq, because before this error, i had the error "unable to open map", i read it and download the last update (i thought i've downloaded it) and it was done.

plz post a scrren for your sc2 Versions directory AND the sc2allin1 directory while running to see something.
