  • Today in citymarket finland i saw starcraft 2 on the shelves i was amazed because is gonna be released in 27 july but its already released in finland 24of july

  • I've seen screenshots of ingame footage, including the campaign menu and some shots of raynor walking around the hyperion, possibly from a cracked installer. However, it is quite a common occurence for shops to start selling the game before release date, happened to many games before.

    @Veior: That is most likely from Blizzard-released campaign previews. There is no way to install the game before the 27th - the game must be authenticated by Blizzard servers prior to play.

  • People have been getting there copies in the mail already, they can't install it yet but some people who got the CE have posted the videos on the Cinematic's DVD.

  • War is coming. At midnight on July 27, 2010 interplanetary conflict will ignite anew, as StarCraft® II: Wings of Liberty™ hits shelves at retail locations throughout the world.

    At special launch events across the globe, Blizzard Entertainment developers will be on hand to celebrate the arrival of the game with players and sign newly released copies. The North American event will take place at the Fry's Electronics in Fountain Valley, CA, and a full list of cities hosting these special launch events around the world has been
    posted here.

    Lines begin forming the evening of July 26 at each location and doors open at midnight on July 27. Quantities are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to arrive early!

    If you're unable to make it to one of these events, don't worry -- other select retail locations around the U.S. and Canada will also be hosting midnight launches on July 27. For a list of participating stores, check out the websites below:

    it would be kinda pointless for gamestop and other stores open their doors at 12am for this special event if you can even install the game for another 12 hours

  • Not everyone can install. I still cant install the game. I tried twenty minutes ago.

    BTW It will be possible to install from 11PM EU. (I am sure this is GMT)
