- SC2Allin1 needs your support! (delays explained)
Past, Present, Future?
Announcement:
Hi boys & girls (hope we have girls here anyway :P)
i hope the admin will not get mad for using this Front Page news for what i have to say but its a very important part of this site, and other topics after a while just geting lost.
But lets get to the point:
Lots of people are keep asking me about the next release date etc. i have repeated my self dozen of times for the RL obligations and the low resources and low in free-time. But today things are geting finally clear.
Because i decided to add a lot more new stuff in the next version, the "TODO list-Roadmap" just became double! yeap! that means bad news for me but good news for you!
Also in the next version i would like to introduce a totally new proper Installation Setup, and a new Report Error method!
Major code and architect change are gona take place, a lot of stuff will be updated or rewritten from scratch, and i am trying the new version to have the minimum output files in its directory (no more lots of Dlls there etc). Still some files will be created during runtime only because are needed but the Software will be more Compact and much more organized! Also much more "Windows noob friendly" (run as administrator etc).
Those are stuff i wanted to do for a long time, new features that trust me will make your game preparation even easier and faster!
the new list of the TODO for v11.0.0 (roadmap in our forums) will be updated This Monday and also the release date, that unfortunately will be not this month but we are getting closer and the release that i will announce next week will be probably final 99% because my RL obligation are getting in an order finally.
so i hope you understand that this is for the best and keep enjoying the curent workable version for few more days ;-)
I promise you all that i will only increase the level of professionalism and decrease the "Labor work" in the next version and that i will do everything possible in a reasonable timetable to make this one of the best releases ever!
But there are few major issues that will probably cause The Abandoning of this project this year! :(
Your support can always be proven for those who can with more than just a simple thanks. We are facing lots of financial issues on keep this project alive, up to date and happy all users when possible.
Tones of bandwidth are spend, thousand of working hours and R&D on how we can improve this even more with staff that the game it self doesn't even provide, we spend countless hours in forums answering all logical questions and helping our friends, create new servers with cool stuff just to make your game more fun and more easy than ever, BUT all those come with a great cost!
A cost that when this project began for fun at home was not even imaginable! i would love to keep this project going for all the StarCraft II expansions to come in the next years, but we really need your financial support!
this year's goal is to reach 300$ and combined with our own "wallets" we could keep this going and updated for a long long time....at least 1more year.
if you think that more than 2,5million people have downloaded and use this tool global we need 10$ from just 30 of them!
So i reach out to you, our users, our fans, our supporters our friends...if you are not register here (its free) do it so and kindly submit a donation here: http://sc2.nibbits.com/assets/starcrack-allin1/
(button is in right side of the page).
we can't do it alone, but we can do it together.
Best Regards
Vernam7 & Team
p.s the new TODO list for the next version and its release its now updated.

its better if its released with lan... since theres so many time... we can always wait even if it take a year...
OK, Vernam7! I see that you make a lot of effort to develop the v.11.... But isn't too much? seriously.... you said that it would be up to 16 players, LAN, new fixes, etc... but you should release the 11th version without LAN and just only with the others... this is gonna make it be easier because it is taking a very lot of time to make that LAN...
I see... damn vernam you're the man!
did you checked it carefully?
??? <------
i read the whole roadmap thing... why is the lan tool not included?
the new TODO list for the next version and its release its now updated.

TAG what do you mean....if you have offered anything, i dont have confirmation...if you mean that ;-)
thanks anyway
Guess that's me , keep up the good work . <3
Might be easier if I just use something like Crossover
I beleive it's the same thing game companies use to 'port' their games over to have an OSX version.
MAG thanks a lot man! you all ready doing great work with this site!
as about the OSX version, in my new job i have a partner that is really good in java and like games, and we were talking this week about that, we are thinking of installing the latest OSX in a virtual machine and start improting all the current functions of the sc2allin1 v10.3.3 to a MAC version!
the UI will not be as cool and with all those smart options as its in windows, but will be more plain and we think of first make it WORK! setup a game easy as you do now, and run the mac version! the problem is how do you deal with "licence" and crk in MAC when there is no registry nor exe..... there we will see what we can do, for now custom map and offline gaming will be available when this project gets started only to legit users ;-)
with time we may find solutions on that too ;-)
Grrrrr....
There, the angry admin kicked it off and donated 10 euro's, who's next..
Now.., do I get an OSX version ? :-P
