ok i figured out why you have sometimes enabled or disabled the ingame create button in offline ingame skirmishes - this Is what I meant man, this is It, & glaad to hear that u fixed It :D

u extracted the "sc2_1.4.x_crk_only.rar" to desktop!? then what did u do!? did u launch the keygen to generate a licence like It says in the tutorial (to wait till some gears appear on the screen & press F2)!? then "ESC" to close.!? did u do all this !?

guys plz help me out here, because i cant teach someone to copy paste the files in the right place and run them...not enough "stamina" to do that again today :P
everything is pretty damn clear in the 1t post.
I got it work. It seems working in disabling ur connection. And if u have connection, the offline file in C:\ProgramData\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net will be erase.

specially if you go at the end of the page there is a link how to make redirections to the HOST file to point back to your system, so you dont have to close your internet connection!
weird thought in my system never happens. i can play with connection on nomrally. in some systems you cant.

hey, after updating to 1.5.1, the game itself is still ok (offline Skirmish) with SC2ALLin1. However, I'm no longer able to use the Test Document function in the map editor which was available in the previous patches. It says that this function cannot be used in Starter Edition. Any suggestion?

the cache? i just gave you the paths above delete them and reapply the one from 1st page.

your info in like username doesnt heart and its registry keys, if you dont know what you are doing i would recomend to avoid touching the registry!
the cache i told you, go to the above path and delete the folder called "cache"
p.s you have to have enabled in windows to see Hidden Files and Folder btw!

Just a shout out to Vernam....it took me a while to get everything working (following this thread and a few others for some other issues)....but its all working now perfectly.
A couple things that might be useful to other people:
Sometimes for whatever reason, no matter what you do (sandboxie, re-download, re-install) the crack will crash when u press F2 (windows error). If it does this, check anyways if a license file was generated in the registry (HKEYcurrentuser---software----blizzard---battlenet---s2). If there is one...you are in luck and can proceed. If it doesnt....try sandboxie (google how to use this)....and also try toggling your antivirus on and off (this worked for me).
The next issue is:
If you are getting either this error no matter what you do (re-running crack, reinstalling what not):
SC starter edition cannot play online
This normally happens if you accidentally created a battle net account in the start window or had one from before or whatever. The best way around this is to get the sc2allin launch program (follow all the instructions in 1st post to the T)...
The offline file that came with the crack should also put in the battle net cache folder (dunno how important that is...but it worked for me).

On an unrelated note, if you have an ATI graphics card especially an older one...and the game crashes in like 10 seconds after u try open it (black screen)....completely uninstall everything and use a driver sweeper to remove all the ATI files (there might be one or two core ones that you can't delete that are ok to ignore). Then reinstall JUST the driver. CATALYST CONTROL CENTER IS THE REASON FOR THE BLACK SCREEN CRASH >>>DO NOT INSTALL THIS EVER...its pretty much useless anyways.

for those who have ketro1.4.x crashing even after having both .NET 4.0 and .NET 3.5sp1 and running it as admin: I run it through a debugger(bundled with windows debugging tools) and it generate a valid license!
