you dont have to install anything else seperatly!
hots even though its an expansion its just a huge patch of 5+GB.
now if you have the license or the save to load its there for you it will work 100%.
no need for cache!
the cache and a new license will be needed only to play Custome Melee maps offline, and unlock the Hots Campaign Button in the screen. thats all.
it should not suprize you! you allready have the game installed even thought you havent bought it! hots its an update in Sc2.-
Why not? The files are there you just need a way to be able to start campaign. There is no license generator to do it via menu so you just load save from first mission. Just finished first three mission's and its working fine.

is it me or there are no post rendered CGI cinematics in HOTS?? i am in mission 21/27 and besides the "swarm" cinematic intro, all the others are ingame cinematics with "filters" to look like pre-rendered cinematics!
the details on those are nowhere near the details on HotS intro! WTF????? they just created 2 cinematics? one intro and one propably at the end of Hots??????
just 2? WOL had at least 4 pre-rendered cgi!

Looks like so, Vernam7, and it took them over 3 years to do that lol. So far the game has generally been average. I liked the design of WOL much better, more classically RTS...

yes those are the cinematics and i was very disapointed that they only gave us 2 post-rendered TRU CGI videos and all the other are just ingmae cinematics :(
dont watch teh videos if you havent finish the game....
i finished the campaign few hours ago, and even thought i found it "average" i hope Legacy of the VOid, will not disapoint, because wol and hots so far is a bit disapointed..... :(
Blizzard with starcraft 2 unfortunatly focuses TOO Much on the multiplayer and is killing the story!

Hi, just recently downloaded the whole thing and followed the instructions. But whenever i disable the internet connection or block sc2 from windows firewall i can't login like what's on the first page. It won't say "Play Offline". copied the latest cache and ran the keygen also. started the game normally with connection and then without connection. it won't let me play offline mode. help please. Or is there any recommended program for blocking sc2.exe? would be greatly appreciated. thx! :)
we say on the steps, you have to type your b.net account mail and then try to login. if your internet is down then it will prompt you to play offline, but you have to have created the profile and typed the email correctly.
be sure you read the steps very carefully!

I have a legitimate WOL account and the game fully patched. Can I just load the HOTS campaign offline with the save file without cracking the game/using the license generator? Would that risk getting my account banned?
I am dooing the same and after i finish the game i will delete every sc2 save,cach and registry from my computer and i will be 99.9% safe.
