Ok, got it working. First mission at least. :)
And it's a damn tutorial. Wished the upped the starting difficulty a bit.
As for the internet connection: I usually just disable the internet adapter in the Windows network settings. But what I have found is that after you have logged into offline mode, you can alt-tab out and enable the connection again. I have blocked SC in the Windows firewall too, but I don't think that's working properly.

@ psy8hillme : if I'm not wrong, you can tweak it in the option menu or somewhere. But I don't know where for sure :)
@ ken : have you downloaded the hots save file and copy it to the save folder? If you already did, then just choose : campaign -> load the save file and press F10, choose end game and choose "restart mission" to see the opening cinematic. The campaign option didn't work, or not yet, maybe. Hope this would help :)

Ah Dixxn. Thank you for your reply! I guess I need to disable the enable simple command card feature. It's been a while I played this game and I totally forgot the hotkeys. :P and thank you again @vernam7 for the installation tutorial.

Hi all. Need help, when loading a HotS save it's load just a half of line and freezes. In right-bottom corner locate a downloading progress (25\207 mb or else) and "cancel button" which not active (because it's freezes). I have done all the instructions. Also that is 2.0.5 version in main menu, but i replace 2.0.4 cache and don't updating the game. Help plz

how i suppose to log in offline with the starter edition , i followed the steps and stuck in 4b and have this message cant login offline because you have the starter edition and there is no offline files were created >>> any help !! thanks
Well i finally got this bloody thing to work, So if you have "cant login offline because you have the starter edition" here is what i did.
firstly follow the guide at page 1 from step 1-4 then 5) go offline and do the keygen (the one Vernam7 provided in his step 6)
6) and then get the save file and load it up.
And that should let you play.
I did all the steps correctly, installed .net framework 3.5 sp1 but the keygen still crashes. Any other reason for this?-.-

now when i start SC2 (without internet connection) after connecting to stream server it messages me that it won't works 'cause it's not a 100% of data downloaded...

Have you started it once with the connection present? I think that fixed it for me. It will say that you don't have a proper version or something, but just exit and if you then try it offline, it will work.

okay, i've done everything again and it works..again ;)

i got other saves and it still don't work, but i wait for a few minutes and see that download progress is changing, after it appears message "that not 100% data of game bla-bla-bla"... where the fuck it got internet acces??

i did it few months ago for 1.5.0 version when i wanted to have it in my office pc, because at work there is nothing allowed to go throught the stupid domain firewall policies and worked just fine :)

Okay I understand that my question might seem very dull, but still, I got all the way to step 5, doing everything as told, but I can't seem to find the ProgramData folder in order to do the whole cache ordeal.I'm using Windows 7 and I'm running it as admin, what could be the problem and where should I look?Thanks in advance and sorry for wasting your time :)

ok now the offline file is created but when i run the keygen it's crash any advice !!
Yes, I believe I have done exactly the same like he said to me. After you have finished installing the game and log in into the game, go offline and do the keygen.
You do not need to do step 4b ("Now try again to login into the game BUT without internet connection! offline as starter edition, and then exit."). But I still doing step 5 where I copied the cache files into Blizzard folder. Still it work like a charm.
A few crashes while I'm playing the games, but it is getting lesser and lesser to happen as I move into next mission. Maybe it is related with the cache files I copied into Blizzard folder.

@Spokes The ProgramData is actually hidden from your hard drive. So maybe you need to show your hidden files, folder first from Folder Options. Or you can just search "Blizzard Entertainment" at the find bar. Hope this will helped.
