Question, if I get the HotS campaign to work like you said it would work, does this mean I'll be playing thru all the HotS maps with all the cutscenes and stuff? Need to be clear on this.
My issue seems to be that my license seems to get erased when I start the game up. I've tried unplugging the cord and disabling the network card, but to no avail. Anyone have any suggestions?

yes yes is like playing any other campaing saved just like SC1 so you wanna enjoy with all cutscenes and movies from the game
i disconnet directly the internet from my CPU the cable
if you just wanna play the Hots campaign you dont need to touch that cache step...
I also changed the files last and I downloaded all the files needed and kept my connection offline.
If you get the problem where you cant get past the log in screen when offline mode the keygen didn't work...
Also only use the SC2switcher.exe in the support folder so it dosnt load the updater

OK. Dunno how, now it works. I'm not calling victory just yet, but now I'M PLAYING. It works at least at this point. Thanks people and sorry for being such a nuissance. Hope that this can keep going till the end of the game.

I've blocked starcraft II, with windows firewall, but now there is "updating blizzard launcher" window stuck at around 70 %... any suggestion?
Game worked fine several hours ago, i've reached mission 2

I have a question. I did everything very carefully ,but after putting the HotS saves and tried running the game , it said that it wasn`t downloaded fully to play it offline. Thanks in advance :)

I'm not sure how to get the license to stay saved in the registry instead of disappearing every time I attempt to start the game up.
Vernam you are awesome I have not really followed any thing since playing your launcher back in the sc1 beta then I bought sc2 so stopped following all of this stuff. But seeing all you have done you rock I followed all of the stuff and hots is working great I am able to play and start the first mission.
Just wanted to say greatly appreciate what you have done. Now and back then.

The EN-US rar has en-gb stuff in it, when i delete the base folder and the updates folder and replace it with the folders from the en-us rar it says files missing, so i thought maybe the en-gb stuff is messing it up (since my original folders dont have any en-gb stuff in it) so i deleted the stuff marked with en-gb but it still says there are files missing when i start it with sc2switcher (i pulled ethernet cord before starting it)
Just to make sure everything was working i put my original update and base folder back in and it starts 2.06 with sc2switcher so it should be working unless there something wrong with the en-us rar

When I run the keygen can I immediately press F2 and exit or do I have to wait for the "skidrow sucks" logo to appear?
For the black screen after mission issue:
It's simple. When it happens, press Alt-F4 to quit the game. Start the game again and go to where you load a save game. Select the autosaves. There is an extra button/tab on the load screen for that. After each mission the game makes an autosave. Load the last one. It's something like "[mission name] - victory screen".
I think they've mentioned that this a bug in the game.

hots-wol cache v2.0.6 for offline skirmish is now been uploading please give it at least 30min before trying to download....i have to get some sleep, dont rush to download cause the file will be corrupt....

It doesnt work for other languages, only ENG! And even so its problematic...
Ive the license for SC2 (PT-BR), i just dont want to buy HotS atm, so i tried this and it wont work cause the game will update to 2.06 and to downgrade it the files/workaround given are for the US version, so wont work.
Unless some1 can upload the Update/Base folders of 2.05 for all languages, or a proper scene release, its a no go for me.

Ok I was having the mysterious 'files missing' error after doing the 'downgrade' from 2.0.6 to 2.0.5
The reason was I simply copied my original Base24944 folder, and it was called 'Base24944 - Copy' sitting in the 'Versions' folder
This causes problems, as it tries to load from ANY folder who's name starts with 'Base'
If you've done this, you need to rename your backup/copy to '_Base24944 - Copy' or anything with _ in front of it so it won't try to load it
With that fixed... i'm now getting a 'starter edition cannot play in offline mode' error even though I have WOL....

ok the 'starter edition cannot play in offline mode' error can be fixed by logging in to battle.net (america or europe server) normally - which means having 2.0.6 installed. Remembering to tick 'remember account' before you do
Then close the game, reapply the 2.0.5 downgrade, disconnect internet and start the game
