And to those who can't find the saved game, please make sure you dump the save file at the right folder. And load it from the Wings Of Liberty not on HOTS.

Vernam , u use vmware on a fx machine so you don't need to mess with firewalls and stuff . just add a copy of xp or something and run from a box . It's also easier to rollback if needed - just reload the image.
After the first mission, I got a blank black screen with the green curso just as a few other people have posted.
I just used alt-f4 to exit the game, and then started it back up again. I chose 'Campaign' and then 'Load' (under Wings of Liberty I think), and I just loaded the most recent autosave.
I haven't had any problems since.

i only use vm in my servers for remote-cloud applications not gaming ;-)
and lets say we made teh game work in VM doesnt mean it will work on the real system the same!
in any case now that i was connected to a spanish friend, the weird think is that after downgrade he was getting a missing files error, and i didnt do anything stupid, something was still missing, we didnt had the change to check the missing license.... :( also we where getting the error when blocking the game from firewall! now thats the first!
but again tommorow we will see it.
i am of for today. have a nice "night" from here, keep helping each other and for those few having problems that may be keygen related indeed...what can i say...lets wait ;-)

Hard to do ... that's why I asked if anyone know a good virtual environment that allows custom cpus .
Vernam , for actual playing - yeah , it would be a chore to play - though on my machine it does get 15-20 fps in sc2 . But for cracking it , well , it might work since you said the firewall method didn't work.
If you want I can provide access to a xp environment tomorrow - it does downgrade , only does the keygen nasty :)
if i had decoded what the keygen doesn 100% i would have made a keygen by my self!
as i said to previous post last page, i haven't completed that.
All the graphic stuff doesn't help either - it just means more printouts to go through with a pen in one hand and a mug of coffee in the other :)
If only keygen makers would publish the source as well :D

Their last release was a year ago.
Best hope is FAiRLiGHT (FLT) Battery (BAT) or maybe RELOADED(RLD) but their WoL crack used the same method as the SC2 beta crack team's(darkblizz team's) so a proper keygen or crack from RLD is a long shot.
Just followed this guide to the letter (as I did the others on this thread) and still the damned license disappears from the registry when I start the game up. I have no damned idea what to do at this point.

really if i had finished my license generator...damn.... even if i finish my half cracked battle.net file, would be great, when i find some time and i make progress blizzard releases a new patch and here we go again from start :P

Everything works... until downgrading.
Game crashes before load with "missing files" error.
And i am sure that screaming "n00b learn to read" won't help, just because i'm followed instruction correctly.
My actions:
1. Make backup (onto desktop) and removed (shift+del) ".../Starcraft II/Updates" and ".../Starcraft II/Versions/Base24944"
2. Pasted 2.0.5 "Updates" into main folder and "Base24944" into "Versions" folder.
3. Launch SC2Switcher.exe -> "missing files"
4. Removed (shift+del again) ".../Starcraft II/Updates" and ".../Starcraft II/Versions/Base24944"
5. Pasted 2.0.6 "Updates" and "Base24944" from backup.
6. Launch SC2Switcher.exe - loads normally.
7. Removed "Updates" and "Base24944"
8. Repeat 2-7 around 6 times. Then stuck with an idea "There's definetly something wrong with that 2.0.5 files."
And, i am sure that i installed starcraft 2 enUS version. And downloaded 2.0.5 for enUS. Thrice.

this happened to me to few hours ago on an other system.... maybe there is a problem with the files, because just after downgrade the error comes up which is stupid!
i need to verify the files, but since its not originally mine its hard.
the only think i can tell you for 10000% is that the ENGB downgrade works!
Vernam, after i freed Jim from the prison, an error occured. Something about the "game need full data". Any advice?
