just wanted to spill some feedback here -
tried your method, followed the steops, didnt work for me, with the enGB version.
cause the key in the registry doesnt stay, after booting up the game to play offline - which brings me to the next thing which is awkward.
if i edit the hosts file to loop the access back to the local machine the blizzard launcher kinda timesout after a minute or two with different errors, like files missing/not enough space (which made me spill my drink laughing, looking at the 20+gig left unused on every partition) and so on.
even if i block every the whole traffic through my firewall the same shit happens.
if i just disable the ethernet/lan controller to cut the access, the game loadsup just fine, but puts me back to condition 1, and gives me that no starter edition offline yadda.
its really weird, cause i just wanted to try it out, since RTS games aint my favorite genre, just really out of curiousity. so i can kinda understand these frustrations around here.
i cant imagine that the keygen has problems with it. only thing that made me think about hardwarerelated problems is, that someone mentioned amd bulldozer/vishera systems and since i got a new amd a10, maybe thats really the case if it trys to make a hash out of the account and hardware and then doesnt know how to interprete that cpu. kinda makes sense if the game then refuses that licencekey.
maybe its really just blizzard, who changed a few things in the code so the key doesnt work, but maybe i dropped something so someone can come up with an idea here n there.
so, just my 2 cents here.

The crashes are a problem of the release version of HotS. Blizzard has fixed it in 2.0.6, but also fixed the save-game exploit we're using and as such, we can't play with it fixed by them.
I believe I saw a Vernam's tutorial on fixing the crashes, though.

First of all thanks heaps! I was just wondering if anyone else had come across/could help with an issue where the heart of the swarm campaign no longer shows up thus I can't load the save for the story? Its Vers 5 and everything else seems to work... cheers!

Of course you aren't able to connect to any server. Duh. That's the point. When it says "connecting to streaming server" click cancel. It will then load the game.
Or just launch the game with SC2Switcher.exe from the support folder. That bypasses the launcher altogether.

I had my friend to check it with his FX-6200 and it was not working for him either. This is too much to be coincidence.

"Offline" in this topic mean altogether offline which exclude the online generated license (because it require online access). This definition is meaningful for the user that don't want to register at battle.net (because of privacy or another reason).

Okay guys, sorry to interrupt, but i think i might have one problem i haven't seen so far, which is with the keygen itself... anytime i try to run it, it simply crashes, with the following message of a memory error:

I can't simply find a way for this to work, but this seems to be the only thing keeping me back from playing HotS... anyone who has an idea of a solution?
MY heart of the swarm campaign works perfectley till the char planet missions. After that it says all"All files are needed to play further"
i have followed the steps given in page 1 exactly..please tell me how can i continue playing further.

I got a problem, I did EVERYTHING as said in post 1. I'm not an idiot.
Then I try to play HOTS campaing from the loaded save but when I try to lead the save it tells me that I need to buy the full WoL before playing it.
Then I try to apply the folowing hotfix and it tells me that I need 100% of the files to play.
I downloaded everyfile from the sources in the post 1.

Hi. I created an account just to receive some help here.
First of all i want to say thanks for creating such a detailed guide that i followed step by step and made me play the Hots campaign almost without problems.
What i mean is simple: I did all the step, cracked properly, loggen in offline, and played the campaign.
The first time i did this i managed to finish the first mission(prologue) and then after the cinematic it gave me the message that files were missing.
I quit, started SC2 again and it told me that i couldn't start it unless offline unless i downloaded the files 100%.
It's strange because i did. Anyway i had to uninstall and reinstall back from scratch.
I managed to make it work again and this time i reached the fourth mission without problems, then the "can't play mission files aren't 100 bla bla" came up again at the end of said mission.
I am stuck. I did all the steps because it worked fine and all of the sudden it gives me this message. I am out of ideas and i was wondering if you could help.

Second, I want to specify what my problem is.
I CAN PLAY THE WOL SINGLE PLAYER CAMPAING. I CAN.
The problem is only that I CANNOT play the HOTS single player campaign, cause when I try, EVEN IF I CAN PLAY THE SINGLE PLAYER WOL CAMPAING, it tells me I need the full game.

read again post 1, make sure you are in the 2.0.5 version use the saved file to play.
as about the rest of you crashing during hots campaign its a blizzard bug, close teh game update your vga drivers and directx, restart from last save.
