- SC2 Launcher problems and possible fixes
Many people have been getting Blizzard Error Reports when trying to load SC2 with Allin1 as well as the screen flashing while loading a game in all launchers, the possible fix to this if you have an nVidia video card would be installing the beta drivers;
For most GeForce series, you can access Beta and Archived Drivers here:
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us
Select your video card, search and a list of driver versions should show up. The one you want is 197.25, a beta driver with Starcraft 2 compatibility. It should be the second one.
If that did not entirely help those of you out there, here is a complete step-by-step (I do mean that literally ;p) guide to using Starlauncher
1.) If you have any other launcher or anything that may have changed files in your SC2 directory, you have to reinstall SC2
3.) Navigate to your SC2 folder and go to */Mods/Liberty.SC2Mod and change the file "Base.SC2Data" to "Base_real.SC2Data"
4.) Download StarLauncher:
http://sc2.nibbits.com/assets/starlauncher/files/83/get
5.) Extract all of the files from the SC2Launcher134d_en to your SC2 install dir
6.) Download StarCrak AI:
http://sc2.nibbits.com/assets/starcrack-ai/files/138/get
7.) Extract all of those files as well to your SC2 install dir
Done!
Now the safest maps to use are obviously the Blizzard maps, but you can try StarLauncher with all the other user-created maps as well. You can obtain them here:
http://sc2.nibbits.com/maps/browse/blizzard/
The only bad part about StarLauncher is setting the difficulty, you must navigate to your SC2 folder and open the file "AIDifficulty.galaxy" in the notepad.
//Increasing this value makes the game EASIER
//"0" IS THE HARDEST VALUE!!!
const int c_difficulty = 0;
Zero is damn-near unbeatable in my opinion, but you SC pros out there can take a shot at it. I'm currently trying my luck at 2 as the value and it is pretty hard. 5 seems to be easiest.
When you open StarLauncher, do not mess with the difficulty, keep it at none.
Good luck and enjoy free SC2! =)

how do you get the maps to work? I got it all done - except when I launch the launcher it shows no maps selected at all.

Just an FYI: If you've been experiencing flashing in other games roll back your drivers as the patch that caused the flashing in SC2 did so for a couple other games as well.
i hope nvidia make more optimized drivers for SC2, i like take up my video card 8800gts 320 and increase graphic of SC2
Allin1 guide coming within the next few days! The guide will be more detailed than this, and hopefully with some screenshots, zeeg forbid! =P
by the way the cach 8 files was yesterday reUpdated!!!
At the moment vernam7, myself and several others have perfectly working SC2 gaming happiness with StarLauncher ;)
No f10 restart bug has happened at all, and those that I questioned on irc about this launcher before posting this guide reported the same.
And the AI seems fine, i'm currently at difficulty 2 trying my luck at Zerg vs Zerg and having a blast! I tried Difficulty 1 and got crushed though, and Difficulty 3 I can destroy =)
And yep vernam7, you are definitely right, the future patches will obviously make Starcraft 2 much harder to crack -- Blizzard is not stupid and I am surprised people like you have gotten this far into providing the community with these awesome applications; I applaud you! =)
And Zar, from my experience and from those who I have spoke with using this method -- there was not even a need to touch the cache files - I did not forget to add it in the guide I promise ;) Give this method a try if you do have cache problems, uninstalling SC2 completely first.
I have also used allin1+cache 8 files and had some problems launching the game, that is originally why I created this guide! =)
Thanks for the input!!! :)
I think gamers have almost all problems with cache files after patch8
If you have a problems with launching Sc2 just delete folder Cache in "C:\Users\%User%\AppData\Local\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net" path for Win7 and load game vs AI. After you successful loaded the game just download latest game cache for example from: http://www.sc2win.com/starcraft-2-downloads/starcraft-2-cache-files-update/
And you will can play almost all replays again.
P.S. At least for me it has appeared useful

none i repeat none launcer besides ALLin1 works 100% with the ai 7.0.2! they all give an f10 reatsrt bug OR the new values and AI expansions do not works as the AI developers want to!
sure you can try what ever you want but dont tell that i didnt warn you!
even if you manage to see the "starcrack ai 7.0.2" text ingame doesnt mean you have a 100% working AI and without the f10 bug!
and in the future thinks will get worst! because Blizzard in her Patches is forcing now the game to use the patches AI and not the external s2data files!
so AI may not work in its full potention and then cause corruption to replasy too!
