Watch Replays against AI
submit to reddit

  • Hey everyone,

I have a problem, for example:

I play a 1v1 AI scrapyard (hacked map), then whenever I try to open the replay, it says "Unable to open map", I know you are supposed to make a map in the local folder, but the map is called (2) - AI - Scrap Station.sc2ma
So theoretically the folders should be called (2 > ) . But, still I can not watch a single replay of any of the AI maps. If anyone has found a way to watch the replays, or if it just me that has this problem, I'd love to know.

    Thanks everyone!

  • u have to take the ai map and rename it to something with 4 numbers in the front like 0099losttempleai.sc2map . Take this file to ur bnet cache and put it in the dir 00/99/ or whatever the 4 digits were on the filename. Try play the replay now :0

  • Thanks for the reply, how ever I was still unable to open map for some reason. Then I realized I had still opened the map by its old name, I then started a new game with the renamed map, and tried to watch the replay and it worked!

    Thanks a lot!!

  • I noticed - you cant watch replays if the maps you are playing from are not in bnet\cache\numbers folder. Well idc cause I idc about replays vs AI.. and you gotta have the maps in Valk launcher if you want it to read them.

  • If you wanna watch replay you need to change file witch AI, if you played with blizzard's AI you must copy oryginal AI file, if cracked then copy cracked or use programs to change AI
