The map is symmetrical with the exception of the mineral layout, which I guess isn't too big of a deal.
Personally I find this map a little bit stretched for two players, which also makes the doodads and other "pretty factors" kind of awkward. And finally, there are some doodads in the way of paths, units can get stuck on them.
