Nice changes. Must have been quite a bit of work, and I know you're busy, so, thanks!
BTW during the server move, are you running an auto-renamer? Some of both my old maps, and new maps (posted after the move) have been renamed to jibberish, or had portions stripped off.
I fixed some of them, but if it's an auto-renamer, I'd like to make sure it's done before I finish the fixes.
I just tried a handful of maps on page 310 and none of them will download. In fact nothing I have tried to download that was on the site before the changes has worked so far. I haven't tried an exhaustive search though.
That error is Amazon saying the file doesn't exist. I'm looking into why it would have skipped maps (it could simply be that they're named incorrectly on Amazon or on the site).
Ok I'm going to whip up something to figure out which ones are missing (I checked Starship Troopers and I'm not finding it so it could be a serious issue).
However, if you notice one, please list it here as it could help me identify the issue quicker.
I will start a systematic search, it will take a while though. I was in the process of checking nibbits for any maps I might be missing. My collection is currently around 16kish. I am sorting it to find the best version for each map so I can put the others in outdated/crappy version folders and always host the best maps. Anyways guess I will resume my work on page 311.
I'm not surprised 25k files were missing, it seemed like everything I tried was missing except for stuff on the first page. Though hopefully now that is not the case :-).
BTW I won't be checking every file as there is a lot of crap on here I have or is just too erm crappy in my opinion to add to my collection.
Nibbits is moving to a new server tonight. Expect a small amount of downtime in the next few hours.
Some maps are still unavailable while they are transferred to the new storage service (Amazon S3).
I will post an update when all maps have completed.
I should also note, that files are uploading in reverse order (and fixing filenames). That means it's processing the newest files first.
Also, any submissions made now will be available immediately on the new service.
Most maps are now available, and we're simply working on fixing screenshots.
thats great! looking forward

Please report any maps which you cannot download, as they should now all be uploaded to Amazon.
The screenshots are processing as we speak and will start to appear slowly.
I have also fixed several issues that came up due to this move in the WarCraft 3 map submission form.

uh i cannot download maps. Says error 403
Ya the parsing script was renaming things. I ended up disabling that but I'm not sure how many were affected.
soo is there a way to... fix it?
Skiv I'm looking into why that map (and possibly some others) would be missing.

Is the error I am getting..and yes I am logged in.

The ones I tried range from pages 311 to 300. I am getting the feeling most of the maps are currently un-downloadable.
I've identified the issue and it's being corrected.
Awesome, let us know when the process is over... or I guess we can keep checking back :-).
Yep will post when everything's good again. I've already fixed about 6000 files, but it appears as if it was mostly older ones that ended up missing.
There were about 25k missing files (ouch!). Let me know if any are still showing that way, they should all be fixed now.
I will start a systematic search, it will take a while though. I was in the process of checking nibbits for any maps I might be missing. My collection is currently around 16kish. Great work though!
Everything I've tried so far looks good and most of it didn't work before.
Would be nice if the previews on the old maps worked again though. Perhaps they had a bug similiar to the one files were experiencing.
Ya I still have to generate previews (I hit a snag about 10k maps in).
Ah well, just let us know.. though I guess we can tell on that one pretty easily.
Rating stars (just the images) disappeared. Any idea why?
they're ok here, in firefox and IE 8.
