This upcoming weekend I'm hoping to implement project-map linking. This is a bit different than how it works right now. The idea is, that if a map has an actual author, only a project owned by that author would be able to add it.
In these kinds of situations, and only these, we would tweak the map pages to have a new header, which would make it so users can recognize which maps are part of a larger project (and possibly have new versions).
The way I see it right now, will simply be a new bar to replace the title and details/edit/changes bars. It would include the same information, but also include a note about the latest version, and a link back to the projects page.
