  • That is correct. They default to zero resources though so you need to set it in unit properties.

    If you want the vespine geyser under the Refinery to be a rich geyser, you'll have to go into unit properties of the refinery and set it to ignore unit placement. Drag the refinery over the rich geyser and when you gather from it, it'll gather 6 gas instead of the 4 which you would get from a normal gas.
