Hi all, Sorry about my ignorance, but I was hoping someone could help me. I am running Win7x64 w/ an adequate hardware and 4 GB ram. I have had no tech issues with this PC. Picked up my copy at the game store today. The install of SC2 went fine and generated no error messages. I also followed the prompt to register my copy with my CD key online, and SC2 was successfully added to my battle.net account, with an icon that leads to a page where one can download the "Game Client". However, when I launch SC2, after the movie/cut scene, I get to the homepage of the ringed planet, along with a box that says:
LOGIN BATTLE.NET ACCOUNT NAME
CONNECT [grayed out] CREATE ACCOUNT
The thing is, the orange CONNECT button remains grayed out even after I begin typing in my username in the text field. What is happening? Do I need to download this massive "Game Client" first? - not sure what that is (sorry I'm so ignorant on this, I haven't played a PC game since Diablo II).
