SC2 Like/Dislike vs. SC1

• I don't like the music of the protoss (my fav race)

  I prefer the terran or even sc1 music. The toss music gives me nightmares...

• I think there should be a way to build over 200 units, but I think there should be some combination of tech to do so... that would be fun in longer games :-D

• sc1:
  Being able to play Starcraft 1 on a really really old computer, AND IT WOULD ACTUALLY RUN!

  sc2:
  Being able to let units walk over Terran's supply depots by submerging it.

  And being able to Shift + command, so much easier.

  And being able to just waypoint to the minerals. :D No more wizzing all the way back to your base just to make sure that drones going to mine the minerals instead of doing nothing.

• Like, selecting a bigger group rather than just 12 units, makes the game overall faster for me.

  Dislike, the removal of the old units but hopefully Blizz will accomadate that by creating more better, strategic units.

• Like - workers spliting to gather minerals equally

  Dislike - You can't distinguish enemies and allies in a mass attack even with the ally color turned on

  Love - shift commands

  Hate - taking mass attacks from brood lords. LOL

  1. Patching (1.0.0---- to 1.0.0---- to 1.0.1 etc)
  2. Install Time (is o.k, just not THAT good)
  3. Internet

  SC2 good:
  Terran are better
  Marines move more... human

• I started playing SC1 about 10 years ago and i have been hooked on the multiplayer since then. After SC2 came out i knew that i had to get it and hope it was as good as what i expected it to be... which it wasn't. A horrible multiplayer mode and dumbing down the game was probably the worst thing blizzard could have done. Although i did not expect much from SC2 especially after seeing what had become of such a game like Modern Warfare 2. Games that are the best of their kind such as SC1 or COD4 can never be recreated or topped and that is what happened with SC2 it will always be second best to SC1

• nick88389jhig: Haha, yes the voices are much less mature as if blizzard is trying to target their marketing towards 8-10 year olds. What happened to Kerrigan giving Jim Raynor/You reprimands for (what is suggestive of) you imagining what she looks like naked!? The only unit that still has the same voice clips that I have noticed is the Archon. Oh, and I like how the dark templar either come out of the gateway looking like a zealot with a green blade OR they can come out wielding what looks like a double edged scythe!

  Thor does have some lame voice, but it still puts goliath to shame. Especially its special ability where the guns on its shoulder barrage the targeted unit. Too cool!

  ***P.S. Is there like a disco party going on in Thor's cockpit!? Why are there circulating colors of lights in his cockpit that mimic the rainbow!? I'm waiting for Amy Whinehouse to hop out of his cockpit from like a five day disco party crack binge.
