Hey guys, FYI, pre order SC2 and get a beta key on your receipt at the store. I asked them if I could get my key and then just pay when the game arrived, they said I could do either.
I just pre ordered and can pick up my key in 23 hours now, can't fricken wait!!
Thought I might pass around the good word.
It's only while supplies last!
Just an update guys, I went in this morning, paid $5 and walked out with a receipt with a beta code on it.
I am downloading it right now from battle.net
You can also do it online and wait for the code in your E-mail within 24 hours if you don't live near a gamestop.
Updating to patch NINE as I speak, lots of new changes.
I really considered going in and seeing if I could pick up 20 copies to use for contests, but then I figured everyone would probably already be paying the $5 themselves so the contest would fail :P
Here in Australia, EB Games (which is owned by Gamestop by the way) is also giving out beta keys if you pre-order. :D, their emailing keys out on the 28th.
Although i pre-ordered the CE (minimum deposit was $50 :P) before they said that they were giving out keys, so i have to wait for them to call me. :/
Well, I think if you wanted to you could go ahead and have a US key emailed to you, then just download the US client, and I think think think that it would work just fine.
Gamestop had to cancel my online order to give me my key anyway, so they told me just come in instead of waiting for a phone call.
Not sure how it works over there though.
I am disappointed I pre-ordered my CE and I wasn't given a key.
I highly recommend you pick it up in the store... Just go there if you can and tell them u pre ordered, they will cancel it, pre order again, and print a key on the receipt.
My brother had the same problem until he did the above.

I had to call EB Game's hot line, after calling the store to no avail (they basically knew nothing about the beta key thing). They said they'd send me my key on Tuesday, 10:00am. :P (I guess its Monday for you guys)
I will be going that way tomorrow, so I shall do that.
