I had beta access and decided to try your launcher after the beta went on hiatus. But I have one slight issue. The camera seems zoomed in much farther than normal, and there's no way for me to pan the camera out further. Is there any way to fix it? Again, this is nothing major, just a small annoyance as I find myself seeing only a half of the things that are going on than back when I was playing on the stock version. Thanks for your time.
i do not have such an option, probably you used a camera hack back then? the launcher doesnt change your camera view nor zoom, something else is wrong in your installation.

first off what is the message you get abou the last map? i dont understand that language
it apears you have a SINGLE problem! you dont have enough security rights to WRITE in your folder so the application fails in multi parts!
just make sure you are ALWAYS RUNING (not just installed) the tool as Adminsitrator and also, make sure you have in your user rights list the "Everyone" with FULL Access rights CHECKED!
thanks man for your reply, but in fact it doesn't change a lot in my situation. here's a screen with my rights as a administrator (Pelna kontrola = Full control).
Hey i need help with the launcher. It says when starting it that the path 'C:\Program Files\StarCraft 2 Beta\SC2Allin1\Settings' cant be used because its blocked. Happens when starting the application and when closing it. WTH? plz hlp
EDIT: oh yea and i got Vista with its latest service packs and all. Put the folder in default place.
EDITAGAIN: Oh and i use latest avast! Free Antivirus. dont know how to shut it off...
Whenever I try to launch a game all that comes up is a black screen with the correct cursor on it, the map never loads. I followed all the directions exactly like on the site is there something else I need to do? It works fine with my XP system but not on my Vista.
I'm having the exact issue as Incognegr0. I'm currently using Windows 7 64bit. Anti-virus is turned off, UAC is turned off, the loader is run with administrative privileges, Cache is done correctly, maps are all good, and yet it doesn't work. The loader runs, the Starcraft2 splash screen comes up, and a few minutes later a black screen comes up with only the mouse. Map never loads, and the memory usage is stuck at 90~100mb. I've followed all the FAQ's/instructions I can find, and there is no solution yet. Oh and my drivers are updated. I'll await to see if a solution comes out soon. Thanks.
same problem as above two posters, the splash screen will only be up for a moment though if my internet connection is down but either way: black screen with cursor and it never loads
guys if this is happening only in your vista/7 its obvious its an OS related issue! never the less plz try to delete your cache files as its not needed to load a game!
also make sure you have deleted them from all 3 directories and that you have Folder/Security rights (not only been admin) to the application's folder
1st i want to thank you for your work so that we have a playable demo of SCll. Now to my problem. i was able to install and also to play already. But after i switched sounds quality in options from medium to high i was not able to load a map anymore. And the launcher itself doesn´t work correctly either. When i click "Launch" the same happens as the 3 guys up there noticed long loading time and the black screen. when i just try to start the sc launcher it takes about 2 minutes then i come to the login screen. the thing is after i had this problem i renstalled the beta and of course i have ver 0.1 now and its not updating itself anymore. When i 1st tried to start AI after i changed the settings i got a message (don know the original anymore this is how i remember) "You changed my default settings, try to delete the file "settings" or reinstall AI" well i deleted the file reinstalled everything i run everything as admin and deleted the cache and unpacked the new cache and nothing works. Any hints or solutions or is now all over just because i wanted high sound quality? :(
well this "sound issue" is Games's Bug reported to blizzard! but you can try to delete the files in the documents\starcraft 2 beta\ folder that holds the options you changed in order to reset the game settings and try configure it in an other way!
again this is Games bug my firends. i am not Blizzard support. ;-)
tools settings and game settings are totally diferent think! if you get an error with tool settings then do what the messege tells you! in the tools folder locate the file "settings" and delete it while the tool IS NOT running. and thats all.
how you broke it? probably you game wrong path as AI paths in the other AI selection, i dont know, or you opened the file and edit it in a way that your values do not exist in the tool and cause this error.
i made this error to apear in this cases, when something trying loading is not there anymore or you edited the setting file with not correct values. when you shouldnt touch it ;-)
so just delete it.

Also I sugest for every solution you try to do a clean instal of the launcher, just in case the files got messed up.

btw the tool is made for the latest game version!
you have to install manually ALL the patches and for that plz ask to an other forum!
