Hi everyone, Im downloading the launcher now. Thank you vernam7 and nibbits crew for all your hard work. :) Im in love with this tool by just reading about it.
1) Works for the Retail and for any patch (up till this point)! 2) Custom AI and official AI modes with 5-6 difficulty levels. 3) Can toggle AI settings to cheat with resources or production if you are hardcore. 4) All 50-60 (56 I think) maps from the Retail! W00T! 5) Serves all the functions of reload, save and load in one piece. 6) No cons so far!
Cons:
1) Nothing should be perfect, but yet this one is!
Ok, found out how to use campaign units and buildings. In the map editor select to make a new map and than in the dependencies dropdown menu select campaign.
tnx for the extra tip partner i will use it an make an other version that with a single click will give all units still i havent seen this in detail but nothing is impossible
if you find anything else pm

@BigGoober - Yeah same it runs great i can play without lag with the highest settings but just the message appearing when you install the game for the first time.By the way there are new catalyst updates available i download them now you should take a look maybe
Hmmm, if you add in campaign units, won't terran overpower just about anything? seeing that they are just about the only ones who can build custom units.
Ya I am using an ATI 5000 series card here. Maxes out the game smoothly, but benchmark tests have shown that ATI cards are not close to being as fast as their Nvidia counterparts for Starcraft 2 due to a lack of optimization at the moment (Nvidia cards are atm 50-70% faster than their equivalent ATI cards: like the 9800GT beating a 5670,5750 and coming close to a 5770, a GTX260 beating up a 5830, 5850 and coming close to a 5870, you get the point. Hell, even a 9600GT and GT240 comes close to the performance of a much faster 5750 for SC2). Give it a while for Catalyst 10.8 to show up and I'm sure it will work well.
Anyway, you shouldn't worry about your graphics card as long as it is a decent one for whatever resolution you are playing. You should worry about your CPU instead.
Interesting CPU benchmark results have shown the following surprises: An E7500 duo beating a Q6600 quad, an E6600 duo narrowly beating an i7 1.7ghz 6 cores.
Apparently SC2 is only optimized for 2 cores. While some of the other cores do get used ... they are at like 1% usage lol. Hope Blizzard offers quad core support soon.

I'm pretty sure this is only for 32 bit OSes. On the official forums there's a huge uproar about this. It appears to be optimized just fine for multi-core (>2) processing on 64 bit systems.
I have compiled all the current Starcraft II Map Textures into a single reference. This will assist Starcraft II map developers by providing a quick texture reference when creating custom texture sets.
I was wondering, if you want to play on battle.net a map made by you or someone else, how can you do this? You can only play the map if someone will publish it?
finally i finish the campaign, fount the time needed, and i am not fully happy because of the spoilers arround i knew half teh story so it sucks!
anyway anyone knows if i finish the last mission in Hard or Brutal will get any hidden bonus in the credits afterwards? dotn tell me what, just YES or NO :)

I thankfully avoided all the spoilers - for the next release, don't go online till you have played it!!!
Unwanted spoilers are very bad.
So what do you think of the campaign?
I found the campaign fun, and sometimes very difficult on the normal setting. I haven't learned what units counter what and regard myself more as a casual player.
So from here, we look to our SC2 clan or guild ... maybe Raynor's Rebels, Raynor's Republic, Raynor's Riffraff, Guild of Raynor, just some ideas for our clan/guild name.
Guild actually sounds better than clan.
I am GMT 11+ hours. Basically half a day ahead of Europe.
Awesome !!!
Thanks so much vernam7, amazing job on this. :)
