when i try to add maps from a folder, it gives me this message: "Access to the path 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Starcraft II\SC2ALLin1\lastmap.SC2Map' is denied"

@ZOMBOID, Acces is denied because you did not run the launcher as admin.
Alright... ill try to explane better. i have downloaded the launcher sc2ALLin1 (v10.3.3) and when i try to launch the program with the maps i downloded from your site to play i only get a black screen like

And i tryed everything downloaded updates to Gcard etc and i still get a black screen, i see one person had the same in this thread but he manage to fix it but he dont explane how. So if anyone of you know about this problem and can help me would be awsome.. ty again.
this has absolutly NOTHING to do with the launcher!
its game and system related issue, could be a lot of thinks that i i start typing them right now it will take days to finish.

I was receiving the following error when trying to open UMS replays if the map was launched trough SC2Allin1 (or SC2Switcher.exe "%1"):
As far as i know this error was present on melee maps too but was fixed:
Later I launched the UMS maps trough SC2Editor, and the replays worked so i tried to find out what is different in the way it launches the map:
The difference wasn't actually the parameters but the location of the map:1. If the map was located inside <GamePath>\Maps\ the replays were working, regardless of the method
2. If the map was located anywhere else the replays weren't working.
Is this normal? Are UMS replays working for you?

@oan_raduk no need to go that far, as far as i recall i fixed the replay to work with the new method for the meel matches ONLY not the UMS! i thought those "stupid" tower defence maps you never need to see the replay of those? lol
so its normal, because i left it outside i will includded in my next version (dont ask when thought)

i was watching replays of YABOT (Yet Another Build Order Trainer), i use it sometimes it is very good. another training map that i use is Multitasking Trainer

The answer given in the troubleshooting page is to Clean your map folder, download the maps from the launcher's main page and install them.
but what does it mean? i dont get it.
It means exactly what it says. Delete all your maps, download the maps from the launcher's main page and place the maps you just downloaded in your map folder. If you try to use other maps than what we give you and get errors it is not our problem, it is your.
Hello, I'm trying to run custom AI ( for now simply copy of Blizzard one just to make sure I can launch it ). In 'ai' folder of launcher I have placed one folder 'ownAI' with GameData and TriggerLibs directly extracted from Base.SC2Data. I simply added one debug line to see if custom code is loading. Game is launched fine but everything is doubled : 2 hatcheries, 12 drones, 2 overlords, etc..you get the picture. Game starts fine without custom AI option so probably I did something wrong only can't figure out what. Any help is appreciated.
You may want to put GT AI in folder and look through it to see what file should keep in the Trigger Libs

hey there, i had the same issue and installed the 'verdana' font and dont have that issue anymore. but now i get an error 'object reference not set to an instance of an object' when i try add the maps. i have tried different reatail mappack downloads but still no change. :-( any ideas on this one??

I downloaded the sc2 launcher 2 days ago and am using green tea AI. It worked fine until yesterday, now I have an error message unable to validate sc2 license when i try to load it. I actually have the retail game but its AI its utter garbage and just want to practice vs a better AI. Anyway I can fix this?
its not our problem, we dont support cracks here and you have your game cracked!

well the msg its pretty clear do you have properly installed the game? is it a path longer than 5 letters?
i mean you dont have the game installed in a path like
c:\s\ or smaller?
make sure you have read the FAQ also, and specially the image there (in the FAQ) about the game registry path problem sc2 has.
can I ask a question how can I edit the reg of install path of the game because I get Can't find path of C:\Program Files\StarCraftI\Versions tnx I really want to play sc2

Ok, I checked my own registry and it looks like I can't find anything related to the game installation path. I can't realy try to find a solution because I am to lazy to try and get the same error as you guys so here is a possible solution. When you instal the game, make sure that at the end of the instalation path, when you choose it, there is a "\" without the quotes. Don't know if it will work but it's worth a try.
if you have win7 x86 (32 bit) and game installed in C:\Program Files\StarCraft II\ open notepad, copy text from above, save as (All Files (*.*) ) sc2.reg and run it.
