I was thinking, since even the only-english rule didn't get rid of random spams ("Wat is teh cheats 4 tis map?"), why not restrict posts only to registered users? I think that people that want to make constructive posts will register anyway, but we won't have that many FOC parasites.

totally agree! please make a filter for the content in comments too, anyone who requested for cheats, just BAN the ip! lol... coz those who played games depend on cheats are low-class people who don't deserve to visit here..

I don't think we should be that harsh. If a person really want to ask for cheats, let he do that. The problem is that random people spam too much, and they will bypass any anti-spam system, because they're real people, and not bots.
I just think that if we increase a bit the effort necessary to post, we'll decrease the quantity of useless posts. Of course, this could lead to a decrease of usefull posts too, but I think in a smaller scale, and Nibbits would be benefited overall.
IMO anon posting isn't causing as many problems as you might expect.
One big benefit is that people don't have to register, i.e. no time cost, so people are more willing to post comments, which overall is a good thing.
The abusive ones can get IP banned anyway, and it's usually obvious who they are, i.e. low moderation-time cost.
You know what pisses me off? When we try to discuss serious stuff, the topic stays quiet for 4 days, but when it comes to ask for cheats for a map that's not even the original version, we have like 4 posts a day.
Anyway, thanks for your opinions guys.
I have decided to kill off all things deemed annoying.
If a thread looks like it's full of retards, we will kill the thread.
If the thread is "how 2 cht plz" good bye.
If the thread says "my favorite map is cops and robbers" poof.
Guys you should enforce a registration for posting of comments and voting.
This decreases the chances of spamming.
And please remove fraudulent maps from the ranking (e.g. Cops and Robbers?)
i know it's thanks to multi-accounts that it got to become "popular". lol
