Well I did everything and followed the rules and It worked perfectly last night... but then I accidentally started the game with my internet connected an it tried to update even though I have all Blizzard and Starcraft connections blocked with my Firewall... well after that I couldn't get into the game without it trying to finish the update. So I let it update, then redid the steps... but it didn't work, it would begin to load the game, but then just crash and go back to the launcher...
I uninstalled it, and I'm redownloading it now... So I'm guessing that you absolutely cannot ever connect to the internet while loading the game right? And there's no way around that?
Hey I am having trouble with the map editor everything works fine and all but when I try to open the map editor it just says starcraft is missing files. What should I do?

Your email must be valid or you might not got account registered. Check your email, check inbox, check junk, check document, check everywhere.
If no Blizzard confirmation of account, redo it again.

Yup, I read the instructions and used a valid mail address and after like an hour of waiting I get nothing, even in the junk folder.
That is why I am asking whether should begin to worry or simply wait for it to arrive later.
Thank you, everyone, for your answers, I guess I'll be checking my mail tomorrow again and if unsuccessful repeat the whole of creating an account.
Hope that everything works out fine or we get a scene release with less complicated installation, LOL (this in no way undermines Vernam7's great work on keeping us fans in the loop - thanks a lot, man)!

I followed this instruction. I started playing, went to mission 6, all without internet. All of a sudden after a mission it told me I needed to buy the complete version to play and from then on, it doesnt matter how many times I "downgrade", it still keeps on telling me I need 100% of the files to play

I "dowgraded" it at least 3 times now. There must be a moteherfuckin something from Blizzard, cause I was offline and playing regurarly HFTS when it told me I needed 100% of the files.

Let's see what wrong with your case, check follow this
1. You download 13 GB from StarCraft 2 Starter Edition client yet?
2. I dunno if this relate but after you complete download whole 13 GB from client, you play the first mission of SC wing of liberty yet?
3. You unplugged internet while using Keygen? (and must offline from this point)
4. You don't need any others files from torrent or others source to replaced the downloaded 13 GB you just did, leave it alone, you don't need others file.
And stop be rudeness...

About how long it take to get blizzard mail back
I got it as soon as I complete the registration, maybe your email is not popular for bliz :p? I use Yahoo one.
If necessary, make Yahoo email may do a trick here.

O god, it took a while but i got it working in win xp!
I'm using xp, .net 3.5 sp1, everything updated, I tested everything ppl said here but the keygen always crashed.
I even uninstalled my video card driver, and succeded, BUT the license get deleted when i open the game(maybe because of the driver change).
so ppl started talking about core problems and stuff.. and i noticed the keygen only uses one core..
So I disabled my internet, opened the keygen, ctrl alt del, right click on the keytro, set afinity for all my cores and pressed f2 and bam, got a working key!
I want to thank you, Vernam and everyone in this post for this!

I dowloaded teh started edition, used the keygen, downgraded it, played Heart of the Swarm forst 6 missions, ALL OFFLINE, with INTERNET DOWN, then at the end of the 6th mission it opened a window in the game telling me that I need fully downloaded datas to play "this version" of Starcraft.
Then I redowngraded it all. It magically worked again. Played the 7th missions.
In the end of the 7th mission AGAIN the same message.
It must be something into the game.
Like that in the end of every mission it tells you to downloaded it all over again.

I have done all things, described above , launch the mission and after its end I click on Continue and nothing happens. How could I fix that?

almost 2 weeks since release and no decent hackers can crack HOTS?! what has the scene come to..
Well, for the auto-deleting license I've used the easiest way to solve... buy this awesome game.
I've found an offer for 17 euros at my local shop (almost 50% discount)and now all works perfectly. Rolled back to 2.0.5 and started from the savegame without any keygen, only snify's loader to use the game offline

What do you mean? if you mean "playable" HOTS, you just looking at it ;p
Also there stupid "US Digital Millennium Copyright Act" or "DMCA" try to deleted everything that relate StarCraft 2 HOTS pretty often. Blizzard must be so much money poked at the DMCA's face.
Surprisingly, this forum not even got bust by DMCA yet.

Is there a word about the auto-deleting license key in the registry. The weird is this crack worked before on this computer and now I cant get it to work again. I have download enGB and applied the crack like directions say too. As I said this crack has work before for me. But now the registry key keeps deleting it self.

Ok I think I finally found out what the problem SEEMS to be.
Basically what I did to solve the matter was to conect internet, let the game update normally AND ONLY AFTER, downgrading it.
So, if someone else has my problem, you have to let the game update back, then downgrade it again like you did the first time.
Then disconnect internet and play.
Seems fine now, THANKS AGAIN VERNAM7, you're an angel.

This might fix some problems, users have.
I have tried deleting ever registry key every file from drive like C:\programdata\ C:\users\(Myuser)\documents\starcraft\ C:\Programfiles(x86)\starcraft II\ The key gen works(I do this with my LAN disabled) and places a key in the registry but after game start the key is deleted by the game.

This might be caused by 1 problems:
1) Your CPU whatever does NOT calculate a valid license (although the keygen brings no errors)
2) You have a newer (or) 2.0.6 version that prevents generated liceneses like that. (Downgrade to 2.0.5)
3) You changed your hardware (RAM, BIOS, CPU, Harddrive, MAC ADDRESS, etc.)
Disable all Firewall/AV and stay online. You can be online with the keygen.
that´s whar you don´t explain,do you reconstruct the game trough the internet or no the firsts attempts???, I didn´t it at first but in the end I let the game connect and see what is missing
