I am only trying get in to WOL at the moment. I have tried downgrading and upgrading both. I have my Avast disabled during using the crack and my UAC turn off.
MY CPU is a AMD FX 4100 quad core 3.60 GHz

When I Install the game I install it from battle.net ENgb and I wait untill it is 100% installed 13gb of files

hmm that cpu is the troublemaker, if you have a gigabyte mobo you can enable the only physic cpu mode in BIOS
The license doesn't seem to 'stick' for me between reboots (I get the "can't play starter edition in offline mode", not that big a deal I suppose, if I re-run the razor keygen everything works fine again.

My motherboard is a A960G+ and I did not see way shut off Hyper Threading in the BIOS.

Tried limiting processors to 1 through msconfig, didn't help at all, the license still gets deleted :(
Hi All,
I'm encountering some problem. i tried what was posted in the 1st page. however, when i tried to execute the
SC2Switcher.exe it loads the starcraft but before i can even login, it closes and starts the updater and shows the error "failed to download the information about next patch. check your network connection."
I've browse the most recent page (60 - latest) however i didn't find any one having the sample problem as i have. please if some can help me.

OK, I got the email, activated my account, downloaded the installer. Started the installation and it asks me to activate StarCraft II. Since there is no mention of this step, I clicked "I've already activated" - will what comes out of this...

hi Vernam, i have just download the game follow all the instructions you wrote. i was able to play vs AI and campaign WOL in version 2.06 and everything worked just fine, but when i downgrade to 2.05 and try to play HotS, everytime the game comes to the "username asking", the game crash and turn back to the "start window" after i type my username and hit start, any ideas?
i did anything you said and there is no bigger numbered base in the version folder

Starter Edition all races glitch.
Sorry, that i write it here, and if its big problem for you vernam, pls move it to another thread, but it works with generator and caches, which you linked here.
Maybe somebody of you already hear or read about it, before the glitch was this:

but today game menu is drastically changed, but my friend always are able to play all races, sadly he have terrible memory. He remember only that it is possible via generator and caches and is very similar to procedure in YT video. If somebody have more info pls share it, or if anybody wants, pls check it.
You need to have cookies enabled, and when the page starts loading press the top right button that says Skip Ad or something like that!

Thanks, but not yet - it takes forever to download: the speed dropped drastically (I downloaded 1/3 in 2 hours, but the next 1/3 will take twice as much, it seems). Currently at 54.6%, doh!

I realized that my localized version was an US translated in Italian by blizzard. So I've done this:
Placed the Italian version back and started normally
Login first time with starter dummy account
Exit the game
Run the keygen
Add the rules to the firewall to stop Internet connection of the game
Started the game and login in offline mode
Try to load the HoTS savegame and getting the license error
Exit the game
Used the enUS files of the 1st page to roll back to 2.0.5 backing up original files
Placed back in the update folder my itIT folder and deleted the enUS/enGB ones
Deleted the 2.0.6 file in the itIT update folder ( the only file that not mach with files in the enUS.enGB folder you deleted before,, in spanish version of game it was the file called s2-update-esES-25180.MPQ, you must to delete it and dont touch any of the other 3 files in this folder )
Started the game again
Enjoy HoTS campaign from the savegame in my 2.0.5 itIT SC2

read my last message talking about jhonny ego manual to load another version or language
i want to tell to you that we dont need to download only the US or GB versions of the game,, i have downloaded spanish version and i know polish and italian can be easily downgraded with the US files you give us, so, multilanguajes are supportted with your manual to, look the manual of this friend, i hope some day someone could update your own manual to include more game languages too not only english, game was great,, so easy in normal,,, now i want to end it in spanish and hard of course,,, thanks a lot for all !!!!!!!!

i have said to Johny Ego what he should do and re-write a bit more clear the steps with screenshots and i can uploaded to and connected with my tutorial he never replied on that.

guys i found a way to stop getting the license from getting deleted.at step 6 when u run the license key,before pressing f2,pres alt+ctrl+del find in edprocesses the generator and right click and press affinity and select just the CPU 0.close the task manager and press f2.BAM it works.after 1 week of trying everything,this works so tnx a lot Vernam7 and hope this helps the people who have license problems

The processor trick did not work for me. But when I restored my windows 7 64bit pre Service pack 1 it fixed the issue for me. I can play the game again and the lic key does not delete it self.

@Vernam7: I need help!
My progress so far:
- successfully completed steps 1-4 & 6, 7;
- step 4b - the game doesn't allow Offline mode for a Starter Edition;
- step 5 skipped;
- step 8 doesn't work because before the Connecting to streaming server a different window launches that initiates Updating the launcher and since the internet is off, it says - Unable to establish connection, please contact someone... or something like that.
Other things done:
- downloaded savegame file in the Saves directory;
- downgraded from 2.0.6 to 2.0.5 (at the time of installation my version was 2.0.6.25180).
Other relevant info:
- XP SP3, admin rights.

Hey thanks a lot. I've just finished the campaign and I'm here to confirm that this method works flawlessly.
I have one question: I've skipped step 5 because it said to skip if I only want to play the campaign. What does that cache enable me to do ? What's step 5 for ?
PS: blocking connections from blizzard servers in the hosts file did not work for me so watch out. If the game starts downloading updates you lose your privileges and you'll have to downgrade and crack the game again. It's safer to just disable your internet connection before you start playing.

for those having keygen crashes i would recomment to just give a try the snify's latest loader "keygen" but, it uses teh exact same keygen sure, but kind of differently, so you will not have to worry for waiting seconds and then press the f2 key, or fullscreen crashes. it may work for your guys.
always confirm with your registry if the license was created.
(btw DO NOT press the start over button it will delete your entire sc2 installation!)
