Each player starts in a fairly large base, with a small safe expansion nearby. Destructible rocks give an early game defense.
The asteroid itself is mineral rich, but maze like and hard to navigate; with many LOS blockers and multiple paths to take to your opponents base opposing armies may just pass by each other unseen.
Resource heavy expansions exist on small islands as well as four connected sections blocked off by piles of derbies.
