The Fall of Gondolin
This map goes to recreate the epic struggle between the dark Valar Melkor (Morgoth, master of Sauron) and the free races of middle-earth. This map fits a LotR and Siege type of gameplay - focusing on levelling heroes and spawns that get progressively better- heroes don't revive but are formidable foes; each with their own set of special abilities. Watch them closely and hide them in your army as you attack. This map is best with a full house but can be played on your own. Map lovingly detailed after the Atlas of Middle Earth and tooltips have a wealth of Tolkien quotes!
