- No LAN Support (Official)
It seems it's been officially stated that there will be no LAN support in SC2. A sad day indeed.
SigatyNo. We've made the choice at this point that we're not including LAN. The biggest part of this is when you look back, we changed the feel of Starcraft 2 around getting away from Battle.net being this place you go up to do the hardcore gaming. You're always connected and you're always on Battle.net

I don't really care about this at all. I mean, when was the last time you were at a LAN without internet? No those who whine only do it for the sake of it and/or piracy.

maybe we see a cracked lan version:D ..this is a old bad news
that news confermed hurt me lot of.. the piratry always found something for play to lan only and how pay found noise to doing this...
they do this to prevent piratery
Wasn't there going to be LAN but with the requirement of still being logged into battle.net?
I will say it over and over again if I have to to every whiner out there:
"You will buy it anyway!"
;-)
BTW:
GameStar:
Will there be an offline mode for the singleplayer campaign?
Dustin Browder:
Yes.
Nice!
Pssh, anything they're not gonna give us is gonna be cracked by someone.
This was announced ages ago, and people are still bickering about it?
