Within the SC II editor are the following options for displaying text to players:
-Chat
-Cinematic
-Debug
-Directive
-Error
-Objective
-Subtitle
-Warning
Here is a sample trigger I made in 1 minute, that is designed to show a message to only the player when he presses any key:
With this trigger, you can test where text displays.
As you can see from the following picture, you can tell where each text will appear based on which type of display you use.
