I think the LAN will make the tool BEST... but it's very complicated. Kiddin'
LAN will probably never be out for this tool. Or if it is, nibbits will be asked to take off the tool.

Is it possible to set different AI or at least different AI difficulty for each computer opponent?

Please add checkbox to turn off lancher's custom decals, or let users install their own. I have changed decals in MPQ archive long time ago, but now launcher overrides them. I want my decepticon sign back.^^
BTW, custom hotkeys do work. It's just "Use my own Hotkeys" checkbox disappears every time I close the launcher, and I haven't noticed it until now, lol.

The ai was better in the 7.9.9 version...
In 1 vs 3 insane or hard i kill the 3 computers with a simple ruch.
If i choice "other ai" at the difficulty, it bug and i just see the map but I don't have units.

You need to make sure you actually select a working AI when you choose other AI. Its most slightly because the AI was incorrectly loaded. Also, the AI in the 2 versions are almost the same, its weaker because it has not adapted to the patches.

This tool has only one disadvantage.
No LAN...
Is there way to play online without battle.net?
LAN is not tool's problem! LOL. Its a blizzard problem.

i agree with matchet...also i hate to corrupt this tool with something illegal like a LAN emulator... yeah, SC2 with LAN is so cool but maybe, just maybe, blizzard will announce the LAN feature on a later release as a marketing strategy.. :)
Yea its pretty silly because most of us will buy game and Blizzard havent lan for us.

This tool takes up 36MB of memory once loaded. That's ridiculous. Scrap the amateur interface, use standard window controls and focus on making error messages more meaningful. Improve functionality instead of making it pretty. Is the sourcecode for anything similar to this available? I'd like to write my own loader that isn't so resource intensive.

asking to minimize mem usage would have sufficed...
Edit: i'd gladly give away 36MB of mem resource if it will allow me to play SC2..and if someone freaks out over 36MB then i doubt that person could even play SC2 in his system...
@akcom so you think you can take a ready 100% workable code insted of writing new one, and make use less memory but doing what? making look like this?
c'm on the tool uses lots of library's to do its job easy and look nice, and trust even if i tweek it more it will be only 5mb less nothing importand! and as other users said if you dont like the 36mb of this tool, then what about the damn game??
we are trying to make UI progress and keepit as friendly as possible! remove all graphic controls and effect will take us back to v1.0!
i hate people that are not happy with anythng and they think they are THE heros! go ahead do one by your self and dont make it look like the image above...

Vernam7, Can you put an option for replay save? (maybe a checkbox), with the Patch 15(& Ninja 16) We lost the ability to see replays.
So can you make the replay record "optional"?
the replays are been recorded automaticaly the loadind process is changes from Blizzard because the new beta phase will have different replays ! had a new replay system alsmost ready and workable for replays, but it doesn worth aymore to finish it in few days blizzard will just change completely the replays format Again! and then the game will launche. so there is no point to waste my few frree time on replay production, you will have to search for other tools arround just for replays i am sorry, i may even remove replays from v10.
this is going to far for nothing!
all i wanted is a tool to load a AI and easy configure and start an offline game!
thats all! nothing specialled in replayes, for a time when blizzard was keeping the replay format stable there was ability to see them now the version switch doesnt work, and its blizzard fault!
its not that is working nut with an other way, they jsut have a bug!
and 1 tool i found that sometimes loads them is because actually it replaces your game files with older one, (so previous to patch 17) and then loads the replay
i never going to do such stupidity and mess with game files, because i dont want any more grying babies arround!
if the new way of loading replays was stable i would make it work. but its not.

I understand the shity format switch from Blizz, i wasn't asking for the replay ability, but most likely to DON'T Record the replay at all, or don't save it.
With the Beta down, i use your tool nearly 30 times per day, and when i see my replay folder, i have nearly 100mb of shity files that does NOT work, and most likely will never work again.
So the suggestion is to remove the Replays Save from the loader :)
that can be done, but its simple if you just empty the folder your self.
anyway its a welcomed option autoclear replay folders option...ok possible.
i always thought that the replays are automatically deleted after some time..
I think the gap in skill level between hard and insane is too big... hard is WAY to easy to be called hard, and insane is, well insane, sure.. but I can't find a good game because I'm dead between the two (as most people using this are, I believe!)

Also, is it possible to customize the AI for each player? or at least each race? the I could make more balanced games...

but i need the team that does the AI to make it possible in their AI first and then i can put it to good use.
