  • What kind of mod are you talking about? For most maps, such as those easily downloadable from the maps section, you can launch them by opening with starcraft or using the galaxy editor and clicking test document or using the allin1 tool. Maps themselves will refer to their respective mods as long as you place their mods in the appropriate folder, default being C:\Program Files\StarCraft II Beta\Mods.
