  • I believe the galaxy editor does have a function to convert starcraft 1 maps called "convert legacy map" or something similar but it was alittle buggy especially in mineral placement and some other stuff I can't recall. That said, I'm sure basing a map off that would be significantly easier than having to create another one from scratch.
