What is this?
This is a release version of one of the first SC2 editor created maps, which has got several thousand downloads combined! This map has been through dozens of hours of work and now it's finally over, waiting for you on Battle.net! This is a huge island based map with many ways of fighting, stunning visuals and a great atmosphere. Air units are superior here, but ground forces and usual harassment are also viable. There are many cliffs which will help you to launch covert operations on your enemies. There are 2 rich mineral bases in the middle and two Xel'Naga Watch Towers, which will help you to see whether your enemy is mining important rich minerals or not. There is a sexy loading screen which shows you 3 top strategies for this map!

ver 0.9.5 - major map changes - added many cliffs, ramps for harassment, filled empty space and increased the size of most "bridges"
ver 0.9.7 - major map changes - added even more cliffs, ramps, moved expansions closer to main bases, added a ground connection way between two sides of the map (you need to destroy 2 rocks or either get a cliff unit to get to your enemy by ground). Air is still superior, but ground way is viable now as well. There is nearly no more empty space now on the map.
ver. 0.9.8 - moved the Watch Towers closer to rich minerals to increase their usefulness; added a cliff near Watch Towers for surprise attacks; added LOS-blocking grass in between rich mineral bases, where you can hide your forces; many-many cosmetic changes, which
make the map look more beautiful and realistic.
ver. 0.9.9 - Player2 is now a "User", not a "Computer" controlled. This means that you may not test this map anymore in-editor (you see Victory! message), but launcher tools work 100% now. Also many cosmetical changes.
ver. 0.9.9.5 - Fixed a critical balance issue with cliffs, many visual changes and minor balance fixes. This is a release candidate
ver 1.0 - release version includes hundreds of visual additions, dozens of gameplay and balance adjustments, bug fixes, a sexy loading screen and full support of Battle.net.

Great map, lots of detail. I played a few games with it and I really enjoyed them... Good job
When I launch this map on Battle.net with very hard or insane AI I always see them attack and play normally, so you should either play it with normal, working AI in your launcher or play it on Battle.net, since this map is designed for it.
I never played gof of war(dont have a PS) and "Pandora" is just a word which isn't a trademark and can be used anywhere ;)
This map is cool,but the Ai will gather a bunch of units in one location and not use them.I can then send in one Zergling and it will kill all of them.Anyways create more maps,you create good blended terrain maps.
OFF TOPIC:You stole the name pandora from God Of War III...
Beautifull map, but....
Put some no fly zones on the large rocks and spikes. Watching flying units go right through them isn't pretty. Also the AI screws up on this map. It gathers large groups of units on some spots but never uses them. The AI doesn't know how to destroy the destructible rocks near the start location. (Take a look at an insane AI vs insane AI match).

xtedeus, you're probably doing something wrong. I tested this map on 2 different PCs using galaxy editor test launch AND SC2ALLin1 v9.3.3 and it works. Try to do these things:
1.Update your SC2ALLin1 to latest version.
2.Put this map together with other maps (both *.s2ma or *.sc2map) - a bug might appear with the launcher if you don't do that.
3.Select any Starcrack AI if you're using a SC2ALLin1 laucnher.
4.If nothing works, try again. Or maybe change map name from Pandora.sc2map to Pandora.s2ma though that's a launcher problem.

Why can't I load "SC2Map" files through the beta launcher? It'll only load "S2ma" files.
