Map details
This is the first 2v2 map I made. I crafted it a couple of month ago, but I recently decided to change it a bit and publish it. I'm not particularly proud of this map but I think it can be fun anyway.
Wet Shoes is tad unorthodox. The action start in the middle (all four start points are really close from air) and then the game gradually move toward the edge of the map.
It can be played both for 1v1 and 2v2. There is no predefined start location for 2v2. Like on Metalopolis, the whole match can be truly different depending on the start location of players.
There is a lot of open spaces and battlefields, but it's actually quite tough to find good attacking path. You will be surprised on how difficult it is to move an army without getting caught by high ground units or watchtowers.
Making-of
It took me a lot of time to balance this map. It might need some adjustment too.
At first, I wanted to prevent buildings from being placed in the water. I realized Zerg would have been truly incapacitated (because of the creep tumors). So now all units and building can go in the water (except in the deep area).
