This map is UNFINISHED. I am learning how to make maps and learning the new editor.
I uploaded the map so some friends and others can see my triggers and custom units to use in their own maps if they like. The features list below is what I want to get in this map not all are made yet. I’m trying to think of stuff for a TD map. If you would like to see something in it leave a comment. And I will see if I can make it.
Features:
• Each player has his own timers.
• Each player can be on a different wave.
• First player to reach and defeat the last wave wins.
• Eight players
• Custom towers
• Buttons to send next wave so a player does not have to wait if he is ready.
Change Log
Have a working but not nice looking slow tower.. animation and sounds are blah still

Got no units to control, zerglings spawn but can't do anything. Do i need the data file you uploaded with the previous one?
Edit: Tried linking in dependencies the mod file you uploaded but still no solution.
arg no sorry uploaded wrong version ...its old. I'll upload the new one soon.. its broken atm in the middle of adding something
Edit: one of the main reasons i remade it. so you didnt need the mod file.
2end all the doodads or roads made the old map to load extreamly slow
Ok, thx for the answer, i'll just wait then.
Uploaded the newer one still not much. The old towers had lots of bugs so i have to remake them all
put in a temp gun tower.
Also the time between waves is 2 minutes right now .. for some differnt tests i was doing
you can make the waves faster by changing
WaveTime = 120.0 <Real (Constant)>
in the triggers
Also all the waves are the same unit still
you can change the units for each wave very easy in
AI Initialization
Trigger theres a array of set varibles 0 is 1st wave and so on.
So the base triggers for player one are done
Need to add the button to Send next wave. and make custom wave units again.. and more towers again..
one thing I learned is getting started make dupicates of units and edit them.. There are small things you miss creating your own and it takes longer finding out why something is not working.
So to learn im just going to copy units/buildings and go from there.

? what do you mean dont load the map online ... the Categories:Unfinished .. I uploaded it so some ppl i know can look at my triggers as i make it to learn how to do things ... its not up as a full blown game

no cost to build the tower? what td is this?:D
if you press to many time on the button for next wave the map will be bugged and will don't send/create any monster(and geting error)
learn the new editor? old editor of starcraft? or of Warcraft 3? if W3 is the same
I never used the old editors. I never mod'd or made maps for any game ever.. and if you looked at catagory and the map info its unfinished

however i only see bunker/photon cannon as buildable towers

Im thinking I want 4 base towers Gun/Eletic/Bio/Slow and a few upgrades for each one.
No idea how do to "Upgrades" yet
Cant wait for blizzard to let us play online. I dont know how the triggers will work for multiple players yet :(
Also the cameras normal locked view is a bit buggy I dont want it to pan. I want it to lock but follow scrolling with as you move.
Good work, there is a spelling error in which it says wave "numer" and also, it is possible to put turrets at a friend's area, "steal" his kills and money and in that manner, sabotage him.
Ah thanks.. The probe is set to fly for movement. I'll have to add no fly zones. That way he cant be used to block and he can put cannons on top the small hills. Balance is the hard thing after i get it all done.
Wish i had more time to work on it lol. My goal is to have all the basics done by middle on this month. So if blizzard lets us upload them
Hi Cronos, i do not know do you aware of the banelings problem? while i was playing, when the baneling wave comes, my tower destroy it, it exploded also taking out my tower together, i think is better you do some modification for the baneling so that this won't happen again !
windz, while i'm not sure if it was intended, i found it the only actually challenging wave, added alot of fun knowing my towers could actually get destroyed if i didnt kill them fast enough. I would suggest keeping them or if needed, nerfing the damage just a little bit.
Ya my long term plans are to make my own waves inclusing bosses. the baneling thing Was unintended but could be neat with as a boss wave or something with less of them
I have not even looked into balance yet. I just made the waves random units.
I will prob do balance when blizzard lets us publish so i can have more then 1 player on the map.
Hi cronos, 1 more problem found, as i was done with wave 10, going for wave 11, i click the "send the next wave" button, an error shows up and the game ends like that, i think you need to check on your script code, as the error message mentions something about that.
Veior , ya, you're right for that, but, 1 baneling can simply take out 3~5 tower at 1 time is totally insane for it, probaly i would suggest other than nerf the damage of banelings and also increase the tower's HP so it would eventually stand a few hit.
I'll have to look into my scripts.
The towers have low health so if a player blocks the path the waves can kill them fast .. anti cheat type thing ... If i keep the banglings .. makes it kinda fun lol I'll reduce there dmg to 2-3 and will have to make all the towers regain health over time.
This week end was really busy for me .. did not have time to work on the map:( I'll have more time this week again.
Started messing with the splash screen .. Not really sure what size to make the pic .. test one is 800-600
I'll have a better one next update
Goal for this week make the 4th tower .. a Low damage slowing shot. and make 5-6 custom units waves and start balance on the first 5-6 waves.
well, u just try make what ever u got, i'll just play the map again & again :)
