"I know what you’re thinking. Oh it’s a 3D model of an Immortal from Starcraft II. So what?
IT’S FREAKING PAPER.
I’ve seen and featured some amazing papercraft on our site here before, but nothing that compares to this. All of these figures look completely computer generated, but I promise they’re not. They’re fashioned entirely out of paper by a talented Korean named Constable, and it’s amazing to me that... -
"Researchers from the University of Washington have found a key reason why StarCraft is a popular spectator sport (PDF), especially in Korea.
In a paper published last week, they theorize that StarCraft incorporates 'information asymmetry,' where the players and spectators each have different pieces of information, which transforms into entertainment. Sometimes spectators know something the players don't; they watch ... -

A message from Blizzard to the cheaters out there:
We recently issued a new round of account suspensions and bans to StarCraft II players who were in violation of the Battle.net Terms of Use for cheating and/or using hack programs while playing. In addition to undermining the spirit of fair competition that’s essential to play on Battle.net, cheating and hacking can lead to stability and performance issues with the service. As always, maintaining a stable, safe, and secure online-gaming e...

Gamastura had an interesting interview with Dusting Browder, lead designer for Starcraft II on how he had to take out 'fun' stuff to keep the game suited as a proper E-sport game
Dustin Browder, lead designer for StarCraft II at Blizzard Entertainment, is pretty good at his own game. A few months ago, he was ranked around the top 7 percent in the world, although he admits he's a bit rusty, and may now only be in the top 10 percent.
For a large portion of StarCraft II's players, it's tha...

BlizzCon 2011 tickets are on sale Today 21-4-2011.
And the new Blizzcon website has a really cool background art once again showing the 3 main Blizzard's titles. WoW, Diablo and Starcraft.
Now as you may notice in the right side this "lady" looks like a new art of Kerrigan after the end of Wings of Liberty and her "healing" process... don't you think?
Is it possible we get our selfs a very cool pre-rendered Cinematic for the upcoming expansion of StarCraft II in this year's Blizzcon...

Due to the Dreamhack finals White-Ra was playing in, he apparently was unable to play his first NASL game in time, even after a long extension. Very unfortunate indeed.
We are sorry to inform you that White-Ra and July will not face off today and that July has been awarded a 2-0 victory for the match.
We hope this post will explain our decision to award a forfeit win to July. White-Ra informed us that he would be at the Dreamhack Invitational on Tuesday April 12th, which conflicted with...

Brilliant ?, Hated it ?, it was unexpected and witty for sure. Just a bit cheesy..
Personally I found this a very entertaining event. The audience was very involved (IdrA even has some very involved male fans), the commentary was good, White-Ra, wellMark your calendars, because a few minutes after 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 21 one batch of BlizzCon tickets will sell out and a few minutes after 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25 another batch of the $175 tickets will sell out.
That's if history is any indication of how things will turn out for sales of tickets to BlizzCon 2011, being held this year on Oct. 21 and 22 at the Anaheim Convention Center.
There’s also a benefit dinner being held on Oct. 20 at $500 per ticket (BlizzCon admission in...

Interesting article about StarCraft on TV, should it get it's own broadcast time, or is watching it over internet just fine ?
The feeling is so strong that it’s almost palpable. Forums and chat rooms are abuzz and live events are filled with energy . The entire eSports scene is on the brink of something incredible, and StarCraft is leading the charge.
It’s not a directionless charge, though at times it may seem like it. The end goal, and the one undeniable mark of success for eSports ...
The StarPlayers League is a regular league where everyone plays a fixed number of games against players in their division. Players of all skill levels are welcome to join. Divisions will be created based on skill level, so there won’t be bronze players playing against masters players.
They are currently open for registration, sign up here.
Registration closes at Friday, April 15thWell, it’s official: the next few years are going to be extremely interesting for Blizzard. World of Warcraft is still enjoying its success atop the MMO genre, and StarCraft 2 is still raking in plenty of cash. Blizzard hasn’t made it a secret that they are hard at work on a brand new MMO, codenamed Titan, but with so many high-priority properties on the go, it’s hard to imagine what could be earning so much of the team’s energy. According to a recent interview, Blizzard feels that Titan is t...

Think back. Way back. Way, way back. To 2009. An eternity in video game time. 2009's BlizzCon was pretty eventful, featuring the reveal of "World of WarCraft: Cataclysm" and the Monk class for "Diablo 3." Blizzard also took the opportunity to show of the next version of Battle.net, the one that would ship with "StarCraft 2: Wings of Liberty." While many of the features that were discussed ended up making it into the final release, some have not. For example, Blizzard mentioned that they were ...
“The leak took place on November 29, and shortly thereafter, Blizzard China’s general manager, Ye Weilun, was said to have been fired, or at least to have resigned. However, the Marbridge Daily reported that some Blizzard sources have suggested that Weilun’s departure was long in the works and was unrelated to any data leak.”

For a sort time now there is a new fan made "parody trailer" arround, that trust me if you haven't seen it Yet.....Hell is about time!
The work on video editing it's just amazing!
It is known that Starcraft (and all Blizzard games) can inspire a lot of people to create funny things but this is the best i have ever seen (so far)!Enjoy!
